President Joe Biden met with GOP senators to have the first major "unity" test. The GOP senators speak after the Biden meeting after the covid relief plan, where they all spoke about relief proposals. GOP Senator Collins calls the Biden meeting about covid relief plan "excellent," as new covid variants are spreading across the United States. 

The CDC director warns that the United States isn't doing enough to identify the variants that are spreading around the United States. Vaccinations are slowly picking up speed as the variants spread, as 26 million Americans have received at least one dose of the vaccination.  

According to CNN, former President Donald Trump may add more attorneys before his impeachment trial; they face a key deadline tomorrow. This comes after five of Trump's lawyers quit over Trump wanting to argue about alleged election fraud. According to a Trump adviser, Trump wants the world to know that the "election was stolen from him." 

Mitch McConnell praises Cheney's "courage" amid the GOP civil war and describes the representative as a "leader with deep convictions and the courage to act on them." Allies are also attacking her. 

According to sources, McCarthy could meet with Greene as soon as tomorrow.
