Hi I thought you share something with you that happened, it didn't physically happen, it was more my thought process. So if I say that I was asking myself my inner guidance universe for some help, with my horse. She's been feeling anxious because a herd has recently moved away. And I knew it would affect her but I didn't realize to what degree now we all know that stress has a big input on us physically.
So if we get stressed, it affects our bodies and if you've got anything going on with you anyway, that's just added stress, so more things can be brought to the surface. Anyway, basically. I thought I need to help Toots and I need to help myself but I need to start in point. Because the stress levels, now want to say stress levels, she wasn't running around.
She wasn't really, she wasn't doing things like that, but she was just so jumpy at like a leaf blowing near her, she's just looking around the whole time. She's anxious, she's not comfortable and also to me, she's not getting deep sleep, so she's having catnaps and she lies down but not for long. I'm not there 24 7 but she's just given me the signs that she's not having deep sleep. She's not relaxing and resetting the nervous system.
So I thought I need to help her but I don't know which bit to do first, how can I help her? I was reading Dr. Susan Faye's book sacred spaces, which I've just started reading and the bit at the beginning was about the three brains. So the brain in your head, the brain that is in your stomach, that gives you warnings and your heart, your heart brain. In other words, this gives us a vibration. So your stomach, your gut feeling is the one that tells you about danger.
And it's a basic form, so it will give out, you need to take note now because something didn't feel right. So that's when you get that gut instinct feeling. So you need to calm yourself down and think, okay what is it, what am I not listen to. Then you slow your heart rate down your breathing and you just get hold of your head that's chasing away with these ideas and thoughts and it just came to me. Toots's stomach is overriding her other systems.
So she's acting on her gut and her gut is the one that is prominent at the minute. And also if she's stress that obviously a horse have ulcers you know, you can get lost is really, really easy but she doesn't give the normal signs of Having ulcers because she's not ridden and I can touch on her body and she's okay, she's never been one showing signs that way. And I thought I think this is the answer to the first part that I've been asking.
On that thought process and that information, it's no coincidence I was reading the book and it was about the three system, the heart, the head and the gut. The gut is the basic, the heart is the biggest organ that sends out that vibration and the head you have to get them all in line.
So basically, don't be surprised where your answers come from and you may I have read something or seen something before but what happens when you ask yourself new universe, help me, send me guidance because there may be five things that you need to deal with but actually you need to deal with the first one first, enable to get to the others.
If you've got a tense horse, then it doesn't matter what you tried to do, you've got a lot of walls to get past and it's not always that beneficial, so you need to have a relaxed, comfortable horse before you can do other things and obviousley the pain comes with that as well. As you know, if you're stressed It can restrict your organs, it does a lot of things internally and the pain becomes even more.
So that is my little thing for today, I thought I'd share that because your answers don't always come where you think. Don't assume it's from somebody that knows everything. It can be a bit of an answer there and a bit of answer there and then it all comes together but it starts with your thought process. Ask for guidance, ask for help from yourself because your being, your inner guidance knows the answer but it's got to get past your head, your heart and your gut. So I thought I'd share that.
