Growing up in a relatively non-horsey family, Gabi started riding at the age of 8 through various riding schools and then finally got her own pony on lease and started pony club. At 12 she started competing in eventing competitions. Gabi successfully evented to CCI 2* before deciding to focus solely on Showjumping. Gabi is a leading World Cup and Grand Prix rider herself, having competed successfully at international CSI 4* level.
