Episode description

This week, Natasha takes us back to our roots by making Jessica watch The Legend of Korra, the sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender. We discuss the political unrest going on in the city, Korra's character and the potential of her arc, and if The Legend of Korra is actually better than Avatar or if Jessica has just gotten used to cartoons in the interim. Such questions arise as: Does this show handle its central conflict well? Is Korra the right protagonist for this story? And are fantasy responsibilities better than adult responsibilities? This show has lots of callbacks to the original and we have lots of callbacks to our first episode. Will Jessica choose to watch only the sequel? You'll have to listen to find out.  Follow Natasha at twitter.com/natashadamours   Follow Jessica at twitter.com/jessicairowe   Email us at episodeepiphanies@gmail.com, tweet at us @epiphaniespod, and follow us on Insta @epiphaniespod   Intro and outro music is Feelin Good by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)
