Surrender means moving forward in God’s power, not sitting back doing nothing! Surrender is saying “yes” to God. Surrender is asking God “what can I say ‘yes’ to today? My schedule is not working, and I need Your guidance.” Surrender can be, sometimes, realizing that either good enough option is OK. We may not get a clear voice from heaven about which to choose. It can also be waiting instead of rushing ahead—only God can tell us whether we need to speed up or slow down.
