Speaker 1

Forgotten games of yesteryear .

Speaker 2

I mean , some of these aren't like forgotten forgotten but these are ones that I really really loved at the time and I've since forgotten I feel like some of mine are pretty forgotten yeah , there's a couple of mine that are like huh .

Speaker 1

Speaker 1

I dip them in butter . Slob .

Speaker 2

Anyways , any who's , I guess let me kick mine off . These are in no particular order .

Speaker 1

Yeah , mine aren't really in the order either .

Speaker 2

My number one was the first Assassin's creed yeah , I mean , I don't think it's forgotten I think it's become forgotten just because . How far that franchise has went yeah , it really got all the way to . Uh what valhalla ? And then what's the other one ? The two recents uh well where it just kind of went off the rails you have the .

Speaker 1

I forgot the name of the most recent one , but it went back to kind of its roots where it was in that middle eastern kind of stuff .

Speaker 2

Odyssey no , odyssey was the Egyptian one well , that was one of the newer ones they had .

Speaker 1

Odyssey was the Greek Pantheon , kind of stuff .

Speaker 2

Yeah .

Speaker 1

Then you had Origins , which was Egyptians . What was this one ? I forget what it was called . But then you also had the Knight Templar . You had the Americas .

Speaker 2

Yeah .

Speaker 1

You had the pirate one .

Speaker 2

Yeah , the pirate one , Everybody's like the pirate one . Black Flag . Yeah , yeah yeah , syndicate Unity .

Speaker 1

To me , Unity was fun . I know a lot of people didn't like it , but that was like the fourth one . That was the one that was in . France I think it was the .

Speaker 2

During the French Revolution . I think it was the fourth or fifth .

Speaker 1

It was the fifth one because Black Flag was the fourth , but it was .

Speaker 2

Unity was good , but at least to me , because you could play with multiple people yeah , I got bored of unity pretty quick but assassin's creed one I remember like that was a commercial oh yeah , and it was like , oh , what's this ? And I remember I got it , I think for , like my birthday I mean for the xbox 360 .

Speaker 1

It was pretty good graphics as well yeah which I was surprised , you know . I mean , granted , today , nowadays , that's commonplace with those kind of graphics , but at the time .

Speaker 2

Yeah , but a lot of people was like it got repetitive really quickly . I mean it kind of did , but I played through that game so many times , I enjoyed it so much . And then what ? Uh , assassin's creed 2 came out , and that was even better . Yeah . And then brotherhood , which was even better .

Speaker 1

I think the inzio little saga there was probably the best out of all of them .

Speaker 2

The Ezio Auditore di Firenze .

Speaker 1

Yeah , sure .

Speaker 2

I played the games Mitch . You clearly didn't . Anyway , what's your number 10 , sir ?

Speaker 1

Driver Driver , wow I remember Driver 3 . Yeah well , driver was a game where basically it was like Grand Theft Auto , except for you couldn't get out of the car because basically , you could .

Speaker 2

in the third one it was like Grand Theft Auto .

Speaker 1

Oh , you could Well , the very first one , you were just the getaway driver for these people would rob a bank in a cut scene and , you know , cut to your car and the police are on their way , get out of there within a certain amount of time , flee , and that's pretty much what it was . But I mean it was fun . It was like the .

You know , it was like GTA , but I guess it was more . The driving was more realistic , as opposed to where GTA , where you just turn on a dime and all that stuff .

Speaker 2

I forgot all about Driver 3 . That's why I said I forgot the game , Because I think remember Sobe the drink .

Speaker 1

Yes .

Speaker 2

That was like a huge thing in that game . I guess they had some sort of sponsorship , oh Like product placement .

Speaker 1

But I remember that game . It was a lot of fun to play . I never owned it , but I did rent it a couple times . It was fun to play .

Speaker 2

Back when you could go rent a game . Yeah , Hollywood video Blockbuster . What a time it was to be alive Like Long Island video wherever you know , wherever you were in the world , whatever , wherever city or place video . Yeah , man , I forgot about that one .

Speaker 1

Alright , what's your next ?

Speaker 2

one Grand Theft Auto Vice City .

Speaker 1

Oh yeah , that was probably my favorite one .

Speaker 2

That was my favorite one .

Speaker 1

Oh , the 80s , Miami yeah .

Speaker 2

Miami Vice style driving like . You know what is it . It was supposed to be the Lamborghini Countach , I can't remember . They all had different names or something . It was silly . But you're just running around in a Hawaiian shirt and Vice City just being evil and taking over the town . One day , one incident at a time .

Speaker 1

Basically you were playing Scarface , yeah you really were .

Speaker 2

You ended up at a mansion Basically , you were playing Scarface yeah , you really were . You ended up at a mansion that they modeled on it yeah , and then you kill the guy that had it and take over his empire .

Speaker 1

And then they made a game of Scarface .

Speaker 2

Yeah , they did . I mean Vice City . It's still my favorite Grand Theft Auto . Okay , san Andreas was fun .

There was a lot of different stuff you could do in San Andreas that you couldn't do in Vice City or Grand Theft Auto 4 , and then 5 , which 5 has just gone off the rails of nonsense and craziness with like rocket motorcycles and flying cars , and it's a totally different animal now . I just think Vice City was the last classic Grand Theft Auto .

Speaker 1

I can agree with that , because the first one I played , I think , was three .

Speaker 2

Yeah , I played three .

Speaker 1

Okay , because that was the first one that wasn't like top-down , wasn't it ?

Speaker 2

Yeah , okay , out there in Liberty City .

Speaker 1

Yeah , I played that one , and then I played Vice City , I played a little bit of san andreas , um , and then I was what's the most current one five five that , and then I've got that one . I didn't have four well , vice city was .

Speaker 2

I remember the starting . It would be like rock star and then it would be like a compute , like old 80s thing and you'd hear the cassette go in and it'd be like cassette in play . Yeah , and it was video killed the radio star by the buggles .

Speaker 1

It was like 1980 something , just all the way , and I was like this game's cool I can't remember which one it was , but I remember there there was a time where I had eight , eight of us that all got on there at the same time and was playing it , and we did a drive by with a like a bus .

We were all on the bus and as we drove past this one other player that was on the map , we just turned and lit him up . We blew up his car in one pass .

Speaker 2

He's just out there , like Willem Dafoe in Platoon , just with the hands . I mean , basically , we were doing drive-bys in a school bus . Evil you , piece of crap .

Speaker 1

It was funny though .

Speaker 2

What's your next one ?

Speaker 1

My next one is twisted metal . I forgot about . I never played , forgotten games .

Speaker 2

I mean , I forgot about twisted metal . Uh , I never owned it I .

Speaker 1

I had twisted metal too my neighbor down the street .

He had it , so I would play it there me and , uh , me and my cousin would always play and there was this one map where , like they , the big tank guy would come after you , like I think it was Calypso or whatever , and there was this one little pyramid you could get inside and if you got it at the right angle you could shoot at him .

And he couldn't shoot at you very easily , so we would just peek out and shoot , peek out and shoot , because his vehicle was too big to get inside the pyramid .

Speaker 2

So we'd just shoot at the door at him .

Speaker 1

It's like not designed , that was a fun game though , because , like I mean , basically you just have all these different vehicles and they have different powers and guns and you know bullets and yeah , I don't know , it was a lot of fun just to play .

It was like the first battle royal , kind of thing yeah , I guess it really was pretty much unless you played as teams , like I said , but yeah and they , yeah , and they made a TV show of it recently with Anthony Mackie .

Speaker 2

Yeah , I never watched it , it was not good , I figured it wasn't .

Speaker 1

I mean it was funny , but it wasn't really like Twisted Metal it was just chasing each other across the US . They weren't like put in an arena or nothing like that .

Speaker 2

Dumb , yeah , dumb . Anyways , what's your next one ? Ace Combat 4 .

Speaker 1

Yeah , dumb . Anyways , what's your next one ?

Speaker 2

Ace Combat 4 .

Speaker 1

Yeah , I guess so .

Speaker 2

It was a game I had that I forgot , I liked and that I owned . Because when I first got it , I got to like the second mission and then , like I was young when I got it and I couldn't really figure out what the hell I was really supposed to be trying to do I was just trying to blow up planes .

And then I came back to it later and I was like , oh , let me try this game out again . And I went through the first mission , went through the second mission , beat it , and I got to the third . I was like , oh , cool . I got to the fourth I was like , oh , and then I was like , well , I guess I'm just going to play this game .

And it's easily one of my favorite games of all time .

Speaker 1

I only think I ever played one and two .

Speaker 2

I never played one and two , I played four , I played five , which was a different story , and then I think the newest one is six or seven .

Speaker 1

I remember Ace Combat 1 , I would play with my dad before online stuff and we would play against each other and he would just always beat me because he knew what he was doing and I was still young .

But basically in Ace Combat 1 , there was only one map and you were basically inside of a giant volcano because there was just cliffs all around and you were just flying around in circles just trying to fight each other . Yeah , it was difficult if you didn't know what you were doing .

Speaker 2

My brother . We played one time and he got so mad Because whatever the map was , you spawn facing each other . So I hit the burners and I'm flying at him in an F-14 , doing like 1,200 miles an hour and he's trying to remember the controls or figuring it out . He's like I don't want to go faster and I'm telling him it's the wrong button to break .

So he's almost stalling out and he figured out how to go faster .

Speaker 1

but by that point I already had a missile lock and I've just fired the missile . I just peeled off and he was like what bam ? Right through the cockpit and killed him . It was a fun game . I never really played much of the story in it , though the ace combat 4 story was awesome .

Speaker 2

Okay , like they did a really , really good job with that , like it was way better than it should have been . It was was just kind of one of those you guys understood the assignment and you decided you know , I want 100 on this test . What's your next one ?

Speaker 1

My next one is Jet Moto . You ever played that ?

Speaker 2

No , I never heard of Jet Moto .

Speaker 1

Basically it's like you . It's a racing game , but you're on like levitating jet skis . They hover above ground or water . It was just a game that me and my dad would play . It's just hovering jet skis . It's almost like you're riding , jumping , but you float outside . The boundaries were there , but they just told you where the track was .

If you went too far out and you'd get stuck , you'd have to go all the way back in . So there was nothing keeping you on track , so you couldn't just hold down the button and glide around . You actually had to pay attention to what you were doing . But it was just a fun racing game that I played as a little kid a lot .

If anybody wants to try it out , it's on PlayStation , as the PlayStation hits or whatever because I think it was on playstation 1 when it came out . I don't have playstation anymore . Oh , you don't . Oh man , all right , put your monocle away . Oh peasant . But yeah , it's a fun game . It's old game , but it's just . I mean just straight up racing .

What's the next one ?

Speaker 2

mine is army 2 or I'm sorry , no , it's not , that's my . Your next one . Mine is Army 2 . I'm sorry , no , that's my next . Next one Warcraft 2 .

Speaker 1

Warcraft I've never played any Warcraft , really yeah .

Speaker 2

So I had Warcraft 3 , but our computer at the time sucked and it couldn't play it , which was incredibly disheartening because I wanted to play it . I spent the money on Warcraft 3 , couldn't play it , but I had Warcraft 2 . Loved , disheartening , because I wanted to play . I had war . I spent the money on warcraft 3 , couldn't play it , but I had warcraft 2 .

Loved warcraft 2 . That was like the old school . Like you had like a map and like there was like a barrier or something between you and you , like spawned with , like you know , you little peasant man . And it's like what he said and like you go , you know , chop down wood . You got to find a gold mine and mine goals .

You had money to buy stuff , but if you knew the cheat codes you could just type them in .

So you just type in glittering prizes and it would just like be like oh , here's 10 000 gold and all this lumber and all this stuff and resources and you just sit there like I used to be able to type it so fast without remembering , like without like I , because I remember I played it again years later and I was like huh , and I just put my hands on the

keyboard , went and typed it and I was like huh , and I just put my hands

Speaker 1

on the keyboard and went and typed it and I was like ah .

Speaker 2

I was like left , right , left , right , yeah , it was pretty much like that . It plays the Hubis and the Elven Archers and the Paladins , the Flying Griffins and the Orcs would be on the other side and then you have to send the Miners and they start tunneling or breaking through the rocks to get to them and they're trying to come through too .

And the next thing , you know , I had like my horde of paladins like just waiting , like to rehear them , and I just , you know , click and drag over all of them and light them up , and then I just right-click to the orcs and they'd be like , and they'd just take off running . You'd just see like skeletons and blood all of a sudden everywhere .

So there was a campaign ,

[Ad] Call Me By Your Game

there was a amount of resources and people and you had to spawn and like move to certain points of the map . You were like hayden , you were a big nerd , you played computer games huh , this is the only one I had .

Speaker 1

Well , there was that , and then it was like well , this one , I mean don't backtrack now , I'm not backtracking .

Speaker 2

Uh , it was like british open exactly like pga third no , my , my grandparents had it . They loved playing golf . They had it at their house in Connecticut and they showed my parents how to play , me and my brother how to play . And then next thing you know we're having a tournament with the entire family . But my mom was the queen of mulligan .

She would mess up a shot and she'd go mulligan . And it's like and all of us would be like you're the only one who will do it like we win though , yeah , because she mulliganed her . She mulliganed her way , unless it was like a perfect shot , mulligan

(Cont.) Relive the Past: Diving into Forgotten Video Game Classics

that's all that matters . She won yeah , we had to like enforce like a mulligan limit , and someone had to watch because she'd cheat . She would do it with no if nobody was paying attention . And then they had like Penny Arcade .

Speaker 1

Okay , which was ?

Speaker 2

just like a slew of different games .

Speaker 1

Okay , okay , like old school yeah .

Speaker 2

Okay , we would sit and do that for hours , but Warcraft 2 was like the computer game I played the most .

Speaker 1

And I wish I could find it again . Is it like an early version of World of Warcraft ?

Speaker 2

This is totally this . This is just like top-down Okay , like you controlled hordes of people and had to build structures and do stuff and send people places Versus like , I guess , world of Warcraft , where you know you're controlling a singular .

Speaker 1

But is it supposed to be like the same kind of world kind of thing ?

Speaker 2

Yeah , okay , I'm not sure .

Speaker 1

I've never played either one , I don't know , my next one is Primal Rage .

Speaker 2

I've heard of it . I've never played it . I don't know what it's about .

Speaker 1

Basically , it's a fighting game where you use like giant monkeys or dinosaurs and they're just fighting each other . It's like Mortal Kombat , but it's literally like there's one that's like a giant Yeti-looking ape . No-transcript , they were just random , like creatures , I don't even . I mean , as far as I know , they were just random creatures and you just .

It was just a fighting game where you just get in there and fight like side to side . Every now and then you'd have little people that would run across the bottom trying to get out of the way or whatever , and I don't remember if it gave you more health or not , but you could randomly reach down and grab them and eat them .

Speaker 2

So it was just like ah .

Speaker 1

It was just a fighting game with just giant creatures .

Speaker 2

Who comes up with this crap ?

Speaker 1

I don't know , but it was a lot of fun . I remember playing it with my brother all the time . I want to say there was like a Cyclops or something like that . There was several other characters , but the one everybody remembers is the giant monkey or the Velociraptor looking thing . There's not a whole lot to it , it's just a monster .

Speaker 2

No , it's just a giant monster fighting game . That's really about it .

Speaker 1

And just like Mortal Kombat , it's just like the side scroll , like left and right . So it's just random stuff .

Speaker 2

That's funny .

Speaker 1

All right , anyways , continue with your next .

Speaker 2

Army of Two .

Speaker 1

Army of Two . Yeah , I remember playing that . That was a lot of fun . That was the like I think we talked about it on a recent episode where it was one of the first ones where it had like the cover shooting kind of mechanic .

Speaker 2

Yeah , there was a lot of different mechanics . I think that slowly just made their way into the mainstream now of things you could do . All I remember is me and my brother played and all we wanted were cool-looking masks .

Speaker 1

Yep .

Speaker 2

And gold guns . Yep , because you could like get them gold-plated or something . Yeah , you upgrade your guns as you go , yeah so like there's a bunch of different weapons , but I wanted the most ammo .

Speaker 1

Yep .

Speaker 2

So I had an LMG with this giant box , magazine , gold-plated , big barrel , gigantic suppressor scope on it . It was just a . It was ridiculous . It was as tall as my character and he's just like like I could hold down the button for like an inordinate amount of time and just dump rounds into people and I think I had like an smg or something .

Speaker 1

I was like my second I've ever played me and my cousin played it and I had like a metallic looking blue famas that had like a shield on the front of my gun .

Speaker 2

Yeah , the way you can see just the iron sights . Yeah , mine had the shield . I forgot my LMG had the shield .

Speaker 1

I had the flaming , like the flames , like the hot rod cars the flames . I had that across my mask .

Speaker 2

That game was so cool . I don't remember the plot at all .

Speaker 1

It was just drop these two guys off , kill a bunch of people .

Speaker 2

Yeah , and then there was like I think there was the second one .

Speaker 1

Yeah .

Speaker 2

You had to fight that one crazy guy who , like you , were like on a mission with him in the beginning and then he tried to kill you . Oh , but he kept calling everyone the F word , but with O at the end . And he says it , and the two guys just look at it .

And the two guys just look at it , the army , two guys just look at it and go , you know , oh , and it's like I don't know , man , I've never heard that before in my life . And then people all of a sudden started using it and I was like , who even says that ?

I mean , you know what I'm talking about , but I can't say it on the show because I'm looking at the hot sauce and it's looking back at me .

Speaker 1

I mean you , we don't need to deal with it just checking what's your next one my next one is a game called Transformers War for Cybertron . Yeah , there was a lot of Transformers ones , but this one that game was fun .

I think it was like five on five for their multiplayer yeah and , like you , could seamlessly transition from vehicle to robot you could jump and do it yes , yeah , you could , like . You could be driving your vehicle , hit the jump , transform into your guy , start shooting as you fly across the screen .

Speaker 2

Transform back into the vehicle and hit the bottom of the ramp and take off .

Speaker 1

Yes , that was awesome . Yeah , unfortunately , a lot of people didn't buy it . Yeah , I mean , it was hard to find lobbies , but it was a lot of fun .

Speaker 2

Yeah .

Speaker 1

Because I mean you could be the jet , fly up real high , change into the robot and just like barrel down on somebody , just lighten them up and then change the jet and take off right before you hit the ground . That was so much fun I remember that game , I'm so I'm happy you played it too .

Yeah , I forgot all about that one I tried to get my cousins to buy it and stuff and they never would . But it was an awesome game . I knew they liked transformers and they just wouldn't , just wouldn't go for it because it wasn't , you know , a big online thing like call it because , honestly , it came out around the same time as Modern Warfare .

Yeah , so a lot of people didn't want to play it , but it was a lot of fun .

Speaker 2

I remember I really enjoyed it . I enjoyed the campaign too .

Speaker 1

I didn't play a whole lot of the campaign . Well , I take that back .

Speaker 2

I did Because you switched between being the Decepticons and being the Autobots .

Speaker 1

Yeah , I do remember playing the campaign because you had to fight Tidal Wave , which which is basically an aircraft carrier .

Speaker 2

Yeah , I had that Transformer toy from Transformers Armada .

Speaker 1

That thing's huge the show yeah because it's three different ones .

Speaker 2

But you got to take it all apart and do it and you build Tidal Wave and it's got all the turrets that are like on his chest and they go .

Speaker 1

Yeah , it was a lot of fun . It was a fun game it was fun . Damn what's your next one .

Speaker 2

Call of Duty 2 , the big red one .

Speaker 1

I never played that . I never played anything before Modern Warfare , the original .

Speaker 2

So big red one was like a total offshoot of Call of Duty . I mean , it was Call of Duty 2 , but I can't remember what year it came out , but the graphics were better than Call of Duty 2 . I think they weren't . I don't know if they were . The graphics were better than Call of Duty 2 . I think they weren't .

I don't know if they were on par as good as Call of Duty 3 . The last World War 2 and before Modern Warfare . But you go with the big red one from Africa to Germany during World War 2 and you had a whole squad of dudes . They were voiced by almost everybody who was in Banner Brothers .

Speaker 1

I think , before Modern Warfare , all the World War II games I played with the Medal of Honor ones .

Speaker 2

Yeah , those were . I forgot about the Medal of .

Speaker 1

Honor ones Forgotten games .

Speaker 2

Damn Like European Assault .

Speaker 1

Yeah .

Speaker 2

Was it Allied Assault , pacific Assault ? Yeah , I played or no , that was Rising Sun that I played . Rising Sun was really good . Airborne yeah , those were all good too Damn . We just need to do another episode of best World War .

Speaker 1

II games . Write that down . Yeah , write that down . My next one is a game called Fighting Force .

It's probably only a few people have ever heard of it , but I found it at Hollywood Video and the reason it's it's on my list because there was a day I was going to work with my dad it was like during the summer and I was probably 13 , 14 at the most and we were on our way to work he ran out .

Somebody like in the truck ahead of him had dropped a bunch of like screws and stuff , so he drove over him on accident going down 78 . And he had to go take it to get . Basically every tire had screws in it , so he had to get all new tires and everything .

Speaker 2

I bet your dad was pissed . Oh , he was mad at first .

Speaker 1

And then and he asked them , he was like , you know , how long is it going to take to fix this or , you know , get it changed out ? And they were like , oh , it'll take an hour or two . And he looked at his watch and he's like , well , it's too late to start the day now , let's just go home .

So he stopped by Hollywood Video and we rented this game and we played the entire day and beat the game in one day and my dad didn't play very many video games , so it .

But basically there was two girls or two guys you could choose from as your characters and it was just a straight up beat em up like you just walk your way through the levels , beat the crap out of whoever's in front of you but it was like the , it was what Playstation 1 , but it was like the 3D , kind of like you know , sometimes you have to go up ,

sometimes you go to the right . It was still pretty basic but it cool characters and they had , like you know , their special moves or whatever . And I remember , like the final level you're fighting on , like this giant flying fortress , you can like kick people off the side that sounds it was just . It was a fun game .

There was a fighting force and fighting force too , but it was playstation 1 and that does sound fun .

Speaker 2

That reminds me of a game . Uh , I can't remember the name . I totally blanked on this game and I never owned it , but it was . Is this it ?

Speaker 1

earth defense force 2025 I saw that one , but I had never played it yeah , where you're shooting giant bugs .

Speaker 2

It was such a wild game but it was like only like made in japan , like you had to like get it from them , but my buddy down the street he had it , and this is just like an off topic one I'm talking about .

This was a part of the list but I couldn't remember it at the time and I remember there's just giant spiders and ants like comically huge , and I have like a six barrel rocket launcher . I just go into these things like I like unlimited ammo at that point because they'd beaten the game and like unlocked

[Ad] The Gaming Blender

everything and like all this stuff yeah and we were just playing that run around , just play and like you could blow up entire buildings and I'm like this is the most fun , mind-numbing game I've ever played in my life . I totally forgot about , but my next one was lord of the rings , the two towers that was a fun thing .

Speaker 1

That was probably the best . That was the best lord of the rings game .

Speaker 2

I played that everybody says return of the king , no , the two towers and then everybody played the same mission over and over defense of the . Uh oh , helms deep yeah where they're running at you and you have and you just play as legless and all down with arrows .

Yeah , keep fighting , just keep fighting yeah just keep firing , just keep firing , just keep firing , just keep firing , because , like I had beaten that game so many times defended the wall .

(Cont.) Relive the Past: Diving into Forgotten Video Game Classics

And if I was on top of the wall at Helm's Deep , I played as Aragorn or Gimli . I mostly just played as Aragorn , yeah , and then when it was that long-range one where they're running at you , I've beaten it as all of the characters .

But Legolas was so much easier , yeah , especially if you maxed Legolas out and you had the purple fire arrows , that would one shot Uruk-hai , oh , like they would hit him and they just catch on fire and die .

Speaker 1

Well , I don't remember that detail , Because if you held it like and then nailed him with it .

Speaker 2

you drop him in one shot , Okay .

Speaker 1

I remember like all the button combos when they got close .

Speaker 2

I just remember playing as Aragorn fighting on top of the wall .

Speaker 1

Kicking the ladders down . Yeah , kicking the ladders down and then fighting down the stairs , or something like that yeah . Yeah , it was fun .

Speaker 2

Then fighting in the Hornburg , like in the courtyard , and that was just a melee . It was hard to remember where my character was . I'm like where the hell is he ? And I'm doing a power move so I could see the flaming sword go around .

I was like I lost him for a second and then at the end of the game if when you beat it they had the Tower of Orthanc challenge .

I remember that one when you fought , like in Orthanc , you had to fight like 20 levels up , but it would be like you know a couple of the early orcs and then some of the other ones with the shields and then like a bunch of Uruk-hai and then the top one there was like three cave trolls and like a horde of orcs and you're just swinging wildly taking them

all out .

Speaker 1

I remember doing it and I was like yeah , because I think you had to beat that to unlock a seal door which was just a different skin of Aragorn . I think that's the only Lord of the Rings game I've played . I played Shadow of Mordor a little bit Other than that . I think that's literally the only Lord of the Rings game I've played .

Speaker 2

I've played Shadow of Mordor a little bit Other than that . I think that's literally the only Lord of the Rings game I've ever played . But Two Towers I mean , that was Fellowship and the Two Towers , it was a great game , great game .

Speaker 1

Well , my next one is Battle Arena to Shinden .

Speaker 2

I've never heard of that .

Speaker 1

It was a PlayStation 1 game . It was like an early PlayStation 1 game . It was just a fighting game but it was like a 3D , like you could move all around , went side to side , like the early Super Nintendo Mortal Kombat , but there was no like name characters . It was just random characters that nobody had ever heard of , just in this one game .

But there was like a knight . There was one guy that was like a Kung fu master . There was , you know , this girl that I forget . She had some kind of whip or something like that . I mean , they were just random characters .

It was just a fighting game , Another one that me and my dad we would just play all the time and I never could win because he just knew how to do the button combos faster , Dang . But it was a fun game . I don't know it was a fun game , I don't know it was a fun game . Yeah , it was just one of those .

Like I said , it was one of those early places , like it was one where it still had like the blocky graphics on the people . Oh man , like you know , the guy would have like almost like a six-sided head because he's like the pixels , don't yeah .

Speaker 2

It's amazing how far we've come . Yeah , it's amazing how far we've come . Yeah , it's really amazing how far we've come with video games and what we thought was like this is the most realistic crap I've ever seen . And then it's like and that was you know 15 years ago .

Speaker 1

Another part of the game that was kind of cool was like it had like you could fight and beat them up or whatever . But it was almost like a Dragon Ball Z where the knock him off the edge . That was part of it .

That's the only way I could beat my dad is if I got a character that was really quick and I could just keep hitting him to where all he could do was block , because if you're blocking and getting hit , you slowly move back .

Speaker 2

And knock him off . Yeah .

Speaker 1

That , or I'd get close to the edge and we'd go to fight and he'd do one of the specials and like spin and knock himself off . That's the only way I can beat him . This game's stupid .

Speaker 2

My next one Star Wars , Revenge of the Sith . I don't remember that one . You don't remember that one .

Speaker 1

I don't think I ever played that one .

Speaker 2

Really yeah , that game was awesome Because you played as either Anakin or Obi-Wan .

Speaker 1

Oh , okay .

Speaker 2

And then there was like a light side ending and a dark side ending , but you went like all through , like you had to fight Mace Windu , you had to fight General Grievous , which was bull crap . Actually , one of the hardest fights was Count Dooku .

Oh yeah , because I mean you had like boss fight levels and then you had just levels where you're running through and like doing stuff and like , oh , there's like a clone trooper on like the chicken walkie thing with the turret and you got to fight that or use the force and knock something over .

You were running through a whole bunch of areas and then there'd be a boss or something . But then there'd be big main fights . You gotta fight Count Dooku , you gotta fight Mace Windu , general Grievous there was a double one . When Order 66 happens , he plays Anakin .

You have to fight some apprentice who's got double lightsabers , who was a pain , and then you had to fight like her master was like the battle master of the Jedi Temple . He had to fight that guy and kill him . Then there's one you have to fight Anakin , or you play as Anakin . You have to fight Obi-Wan .

Probably there's another boss fight worked in there somewhere . You don't play as Yoda and fight the Emperor which was I kind of wish he did , trying to think what the other ones were . But there was some , really just there was some that were just mind-numbingly like a Dimash pit fight .

Speaker 1

Now why would you have to fight Mace Windu ? Because that wasn't part of the story .

Speaker 2

Yeah , so you know where he goes to swing and Anakin just cuts his hand off .

Speaker 1

Yeah .

Speaker 2

Well , in the game they're lightsaber blades , catch , and Mace is like what are you doing ? Anakin's , like you know force , launches him out the window and jumps out and then you have a big fight and then you end up back in the room , cut his hand off and then he gets electrocuted .

Speaker 1

So they edited out that entire fight in the movie . That actually would have been pretty cool , though . See that fight . It would have been interesting .

Speaker 2

That would have been pretty cool , but , alas , my next one is time splitters .

Speaker 1

Time splitters yeah , I think I played the second one that's probably the first first person shooter I ever played , besides like doom , and it was just ridiculous yeah , yeah , I mean you had just goofy characters and you , I mean you , yeah , you could run around with dual P90s or whatever . It was a lot of fun . You would have your shield or whatever .

It's probably the first one I remember playing , probably besides Halo Playing teams . It was like a four player split screen . We had me and my brother versus my cousin and my dad , or something like that it was a lot of fun . You could get random just off-the-wall characters .

I always picked this guy that was like on fire , which now , thinking back , I was probably really dumb , because then everybody could see you no matter where you were he's on fire . That hour I picked the guy in riot gear .

Speaker 2

There was like a detective dude in like a suit . I remember I'd play as that guy .

Speaker 1

I mean , the first one had just a few characters and the second one had , like just you know ungodly amount of characters .

Speaker 2

I didn't own the second one , my buddy he had it and they had like a huge video game collection , like they had shelves of different games like a lot , and like they were like oh , you ever play TimeSplitters ? And I was like no , it's like we're going to play the second one , come on , and we'd sit around .

There's like the team like that , that was my size and we'd all just be sitting there like , oh my God .

Speaker 1

I mean , surprisingly , it had a fun little story mode too , where you basically kind of like I guess like a light version of Portal , where you but you're having to like fight and because it's time splitters you're running , jump through the portal , you're in a different timeline and to fight through this level .

To get you know , jump through another portal to get to the next one , kind of you know , move your way up through there . But there's a lot of fun and it was one of those very easy , like everything was hip firing there was no pull . It needs to have a comeback I would give it a shot if it came back anyways my next one .

Speaker 2

Uh , I don't know if I got the title right , but I'm pretty sure I did beetle bug racers or beetle bug racing never heard of it it was on nintendo 64 . Oh , it was a racing game , all vw , so different paint schemes , numbers , all kinds of like wild designs on them . And then we had that on Nintendo 64 .

And I was back like during , like the punch buggy thing .

Speaker 1

Yeah .

Speaker 2

So it was a big deal and , like my whole family used to play , like my mom loved that game Okay , yeah , back when you and your parents could get in and play Now I'd hand them an Xbox controller . They'd be like does this do taxes . There's too many buttons there are , but Nintendo 64 , I mean that was just two buttons Go , break and steer .

But there was all kinds of fun maps . The map designs were pretty wild for Nintendo 64 . Like it was pushing the cartridge , probably , I think , but I remember we used to play that so I still have it . It should be in that box over there with my Nintendo 64 .

Speaker 1

It's a very strange game , Tom .

Speaker 2

But hey , it was a game we forgot . We loved . It was a childhood memory , we had so much fun playing it . Okay , okay yeah .

Speaker 1

Yeah , anyways , my next one is Army Men 3D , the .

Speaker 2

Little .

Speaker 1

Green Dudes . Did you ever play that ?

Speaker 2

I think we rented it like one time .

Speaker 1

You could play like versus and I can't remember it was like 3v3 , but like it was you and two computer control players and like you would just run across this map and like if you come across each other , like if you chose the guy with the flamethrower , like if you hit the other guy with the flamethrower you would actually see him melt .

You hit him with a bazooka , he'd just blow into pieces . It was a lot of fun . It was very simple . There wasn't . I guess there was a story , but I don't remember playing it . Basically it was just you versus whoever you were playing against you . It was just you versus whoever you were playing against .

You just run across the map track and you just , like your guys , look kind of like there's the hop .

Speaker 2

Because you got the plate stuck to your feet .

Speaker 1

It was a fun game Because , like you could get in the every now and then . Certain maps had tanks , some had Jeeps , but it was just fun because , like you could set the mines out and blow them into pieces . The favorite was definitely using the flamethrower , because you got to watch them melt .

Speaker 2

Just two little shoes .

Speaker 1

Yeah , it was a good game .

Speaker 2

Not a lot to it , but you want me to change your name to Melt man From Action League .

Speaker 1

now All right , what's your next one ?

Speaker 2

My last one is Dark Cloud .

Speaker 1

Dark Cloud . What is that ? Playstation ?

Speaker 2

game . What was that ? Yeah , it was like an open world game where you like picked up like followers , like you're in this town and everybody's like , oh yeah , it's this festival thing . And then , of course , the Dark Genie he gets out , takes everybody Everybody's gone , all the town's gone . And he gets out , takes everybody everybody's gone , all the town's gone .

And you gotta like find these orbs and like rebuild it , and like find the people and save them . There's like caves you're running through and then you'd like be able to repair your weapons .

otherwise they didn't do any damage but I got that as a gift and I remember playing it and like I started the game and then I didn't get into it and then I came back to it and then I started getting into the game and like I started the game and then I didn't get into it and then I came back to it and then I started getting into the game and like ,

figured out how to do it and I played that for a while . I enjoyed that game . I can't remember any of the characters' names , I just remember I liked it . I loved it , perhaps .

Speaker 1

Okay .

Speaker 2

And I've forgotten about it why it qualifies for this list . I think there was a second one , but it wasn't as good .

Speaker 1

I don't know . I've never heard of the game .

Speaker 2

I think you end up doing some time travel stuff against this genie . It was a wild game . This was back when the game just was good or it wasn't . There was no updates . You bought a game , took the disc out , put it in the PlayStation and the game started . You didn't need the internet . You put it in the PlayStation and the game started .

You didn't need the internet , you just needed power and it was boom right there on the TV Play , get your memory card . I miss those days . It was such a simpler time . So to connecting the online servers . I just want to play the campaign I said we're connecting to the online server Game . That doesn't even have to be online .

Speaker 1

Yeah , I've been playing uh star wars , uh survivor or jedi jedi survivor or whatever it's called . But yeah , not even online game , you have to be online to be able to play it , it's so stupid that that's where I think we've aired as a society online connective like and battle passes and bundles and all this crap Like we don't need it .

Speaker 2

It's like what happened to the good old days where you got a game , you put it in the console and you could just play it . It started Like that was it . There you go , go .

Speaker 1

Yeah .

Speaker 2

Yeah , yeah , it's a monument to man's arrogance .

Speaker 1

Well , my last one is Tenchu Stealth Assassins .

Speaker 2

Never heard of it .

Speaker 1

Never heard of it , oh man , it was kind of like the origami game that we played , similar to that . Remember where you're , the ninjas and me . You and Hayden were trying to sneak around the little . We only played it like one or two times .

Speaker 2

Oh , was that the ? That wasn't that Battle Royale one , was it ?

Speaker 1

No , no . This is like you go onto a map and there's people stationed out and you had to eliminate all of them .

Speaker 2

Oh yeah , it's kind of like that , you and Ninja Games .

Speaker 1

But this had like an actual story to it .

Speaker 2

Yeah .

Speaker 1

And they had a PlayStation 1 game . They had a Tenchu Stealth Assassin 2 , which is on PlayStation 2 .

Speaker 2

And then they had Tenchu Z , which was on Xbox 360 .

Speaker 1

You know we're stealth optional . Oh yeah , I use stealth in these games Because these games were a lot like the Batman Arkham , like the sneaking around part where you actually had to infiltrate and take them out quietly .

Speaker 2

Hide bodies or whatever .

Speaker 1

Well , this game you did sort of like that and then you would get like an ABC or S tier rank at the end , depending on how many stealth kills you did , and all that .

And what was cool was like you could be hiding up against a wall and as the guy walks in or walks around the corner he'd turn , and it was kind of like Metal Gear , where you'd have like the little you know .

Speaker 2

Exclamation point above his head Like he's alerted .

Speaker 1

If you get him quickly .

Speaker 2

No one knows .

Speaker 1

But you would do like a cinematic , like you know , like slide out , stab him in the stomach and then stand up and just straight up you know , straight up his body with the sword . It was pretty gruesome but it was . It was an awesome game because the little cinematic like kills that you do .

You can be hiding on top of the roof and as somebody walks underneath you just jump and just impale them down with the sword Jesus , them down with a sword jesus . But it was . It was a lot of fun and I remember the first game I found the uh the button combination for the uh , the .

Speaker 2

Basically it's called god mode , because the button combination for god mode .

Speaker 1

Well , because it opens up a map and you can pick to add whatever items you need . You can make your person invincible , you can give him armor . So you I mean at any point you can pause the game , put in the combination and give yourself , like , more items .

Speaker 2

It's like uh , no , I want to be invincible now but then I mean you'd run through the game .

Speaker 1

It was a lot of fun . I remember , uh , in the second game is when they they had there was the male and the female character that you had . You could play through the story with both and there was different , you know , cut scenes and different things for it . But there's , uh , there was one guy that was like the bad guy that I remember .

Basically he was like a taekwondo master or something like that , but he had like his face , had like the Oni mask on it . It almost looked like the crow . It was all black and white . He had this long hair and he would just , I don't know . He looked like Chun-Li with the kicks and you're just trying to defend , but then when kick ?

So you're just trying to defend , but then uh , and when it went to tension z is when they had the 360 and it was a more open world as opposed to being just put it on map because you know it had a bigger game engine .

But it was so much fun because , like they would put like little things where there would be like a string across the floor that if you didn't pay attention you wouldn't see it . If you touch it your little bells would ring so the guards would come running . It got a little more involved .

It took into play the light and darkness of the shadows and things , so if you weren't in the shadows and somebody walked by they could see you . So it was pretty cool .

Speaker 2

Pretty detailed .

Speaker 1

There was one where the 360 one , as they were walking past the Japanese old school kind of paper doors .

Speaker 2

Yeah .

Speaker 1

Well , if they walked by in front of the candlelight or whatever , you could see their shadow . If you were on the other side of the door , you could just stab through the door and kill them . It was cool . It was a lot of fun .

Speaker 2

It's a really in-depth game . It was .

Speaker 1

It was fun . And then you had your grappling hook or whatever to get up on the roofs . It was just a fun game .

Speaker 2

It does sound fun . I miss those . Now we're just in a perpetual cycle of Call of .

Speaker 1

Duty and really the story was really fun . I mean , on top of just having fun gameplay , the story was really fun to play as well .

Speaker 2

Or golf with your friends .

Speaker 1

And Tichu Z is where you can actually play with other people as well , and it was a lot more in-depth as far as you could change your character's look and style . I mean you could basically be a shirtless ninja with a balaclava over your face I mean it was cool . Or you could be an all Storm Shadow from GI Joe . You could be all white , nice .

It was fun to play Ninja . You could choose between having , like , a sword Is it a sword size ? And they had some kind of like spear thing . I mean you could choose your weapon . It was a lot different , a lot of fun . Anyways , that was the last game I had .

Speaker 2

And that was all the ones I had .

Speaker 1

I'll save that one for last , because that was the most one I had to talk about .

Speaker 2

Yeah , that completes our top 10 games . We forgot we loved now , before I guess we go on to well , I'm just gonna tell you I haven't watched anything . What I watched , anything new oh okay , sorry , but a little trivia for you .

Speaker 1

I don't want to do trivia A little tough . What if I win ? What if ?

Speaker 2

I lose . You're not going to get punished .

Speaker 1

Okay , all right . What is this trivia about ?

Speaker 2

Verdansk . That's not good , because it's a part of news . It's coming back . That's not good , as we're told , for Black Ops 6 . So there were 20 points of interest on that map . Tv station stadium Hang on , hang on , hang on . Let me see how many you can get . Okay , I just want to check your memory .

Speaker 1

That's not good . If I'd have known , I'd have reviewed .

Speaker 2

All right , you said TV station .

Speaker 1

Yeah , one was called factory .

Speaker 2

Yeah , there was factory . Hang on , let me look at the other one . No , there was no Factory .

Speaker 1

Was there like Woodmill ?

Speaker 2

Lumber .

Speaker 1

I'll give you that one . Let's see , you had Stadium , yeah you got . Stadium had the Prison .

Speaker 2

Yep , you got Prison .

Speaker 1

You had Airport .

Speaker 2

Yep , was there a place just called Docks ? Hang on , you said airport . Let me make sure , I checked it out for you . Docks , I'll give you port .

Speaker 1

Okay .

Speaker 2

Port Similar .

Speaker 1

You have to have docks at a port .

Speaker 2

City ? No , no , there was no such thing as city .

Speaker 1

The hospital .

Speaker 2

Yeah Hospital .

Speaker 1

Train station Yep Train station the hospital . Yeah , hospital Train station Yep train station , because train station is TV , train station , tv station and prisoner where we always landed . Yeah , let's see , you had Superstore .

Speaker 2

Yeah .

Speaker 1

Superstore Village . No , there was something Village though wasn't there .

Speaker 2

No , oh , You've got . Let's see one , two , three , four , five , six , seven , eight , nine . You haven't gotten half of them .

Speaker 1

Nine out of what 20 .

Speaker 2

There was 20 ? God , Some of them you're going to be like ah .

Speaker 1

Bunker , god , some of them , you're going to be like , ah , bunker , no , old Town , no , no , that was probably a different one .

Speaker 2

New Town , no Old Town , no New Town . Still no Farmland . Yes , farmland was one of them .

Speaker 1

It was really called farmland .

Speaker 2

Okay , man the quarry , yeah , okay we used to land there a bit apartments .

Speaker 1

Was it one called apartments ?

Speaker 2

no , not called Apartments .

Speaker 1

Something Heights Wasn't there .

Speaker 2

No .

Speaker 1

There's been so many maps I can't remember them all .

Speaker 2

You're doing pretty good .

Speaker 1

Military base .

Speaker 2

Yep military base . What was by military base ? Military base To the left ? Oh , the dam yeah that we hated yeah .

Speaker 1

The dam yeah .

Speaker 2

Remember the Halloween event where we had to land at each one and get one , and me and you both landed a dam in the first time . We got whatever thing we were supposed to get , and Hayden spent the next three days doing it and couldn't get it to drop .

Speaker 1

That was nice . He was so mad . Let's see . I can't remember what the city was called Nakatomi Plaza .

Speaker 2

Yeah , that was added , city's very close .

Speaker 1

Skyscraper .

Speaker 2

No , no , it's a part of town . I guess you could say Uptown . Nope Downtown . Yep , I was just thinking directions . It's a part of town .

Speaker 1

I guess you could say uptown , nope , downtown , yep .

Speaker 2

I'll just look at directions , um let's see uh , one , two , three , four , five , six , seven , eight , nine , ten , eleven , twelve , thirteen , fourteen , there's six there's six more .

Speaker 1

Isn't there something apartments or something village ?

Speaker 2

No , it's not called village , it's a different kind of Well . You got Superstore and what was next to Superstore ? I ?

Speaker 1

have no idea .

Speaker 2

Between the Superstore and the airport .

Speaker 1

Parking lot .

Speaker 2

No , it's a bunch of Connex buildings or a bunch of Connex boxes , because remember there was that building . Yeah , storage , that's what it's called , storage . Well , storage town , but storage town Okay . And I think south of storage town was another one to the left of the map by the train tracks . That was a bunch of busted up planes .

Speaker 1

Oh , junkyard .

Speaker 2

Not junkyard , but very close .

Speaker 1

Scrapyard Nope oh Railyard .

Speaker 2

Nope .

Speaker 1

Oh , rail yard Nope , was it something yard , it was something . Yard . Plain yard Nope , wreck yard no , I yard no , I don't know , every human has these inside of them Heart yard Brain yard Nope . Liver yard .

Speaker 2

Nope , don't think squishy .

Speaker 1

Bone yard , yep .

Speaker 2

There's four left , if you can guess them .

Speaker 1

Four left .

Speaker 2

One of them is East and West . This one I forgot about when I wrote this .

Speaker 1

East and West .

Speaker 2

Yeah , it was Southwest on the map , southwest by train station East and west .

Speaker 1

Yeah , it was southwest on the map , southwest .

Speaker 2

By train station .

Speaker 1

It was south of train station .

Speaker 2

I know the area , but I don't remember it being called anything . No one ever called it what it was , because it just took too long to say it .

Speaker 1

I don't know . Promenade East and west ? Ah , okay .

Speaker 2

That's's . I was thinking of the apartments in that area hills and park hills okay the ones that , like , know you're there . I mean we all remember , uh , you know downtown or quarry . I mean we definitely remember prison because we landed there all the time . If prison was in the circle , we're going there . We took the top .

Speaker 1

That was our strategy .

Speaker 2

We would go all the way across the map to get to it if we had to . Yep , I hope they bring back those vehicles and they're as good as they were then .

Speaker 1

I'd be okay if the helicopters weren't quite as good as far as , like , the maneuverability . Yeah , because they're a little overpowered when you're stuck on a roof and somebody else has a helicopter . Yeah , because they just fly in , squish you and keep on going .

Speaker 2

Yeah , it's like .

Speaker 1

Yeah , that's a lot of places that I A lot of good memories , a lot of great memories's a lot of places that I've been .

Speaker 2

A lot of good memories , a lot of great memories and a lot of anger , a lot of anger and yelling .

Speaker 1

Oh yeah .

Speaker 2

I'm glad that it's coming back though .

Speaker 1

I'm wondering what they're going to change on it , though that's what I'm wondering , because they're not going to bring it straight back just like it was . I guarantee they'll change something .

Speaker 2

Well , I mean , if they brought back like when Stadium was opened , that would be fine .

Speaker 1

Yeah , I'd be okay with that .

Speaker 2

Because before it wasn't in the original . Remember when you can only have five plates . Yeah .

Speaker 1

I honestly would be okay if they would bring back , like during the zombie event they had the ship that had crashed next to prison , if they had that on the map , not the zombie stuff , but had the ship , because that gave you something besides just that open field with bushes between the prison and the ports .

Speaker 2

We played so much Zombies Verdansk when it first happened , because all of us were like this is amazing , and that's when they brought the AA-12 shotgun that came in .

So we leveled it up , so we had the 32-round mags and just full auto shotguns and , like I think we had extra shotgun classes for our loadouts with a fully not fully , I think it was fully equipped .

Speaker 1

Yeah .

Speaker 2

Where you spawn with full ammo .

Speaker 1

I mean prison was our place , though .

Speaker 2

Prison was our spot .

Speaker 1

When you're being chased . I remember I'd run down into the prison like the actual cell area and I'd pull like the Batman from Batman Begins . I'd just jump over it , fall all the way down to the bottom and just gently land and take off Pretty much . Take off and run , yeah .

Speaker 2

Sniping dudes out of helicopters .

Speaker 1

I remember back then they had like the . They had the one thing that me and Hayden would always use , which it was like the thermal scope , but it was so low-powered that it didn't have a glint , but it was because of the thermal you could see people miles away and there was like no drop on the scope site , so we would just pick people off with it .

Speaker 2

Yeah , because when the game first came out , everybody was using thermal scopes and then everyone figured out cold-blooded . And I remember you had to get two loadouts to get cold-blooded and a second very weapon that wasn't a pistol .

Speaker 1

Back in my day .

Speaker 2

We had to get two loadouts to have cold-blooded . It's like , okay , Grandpa , let's take you back to the home .

Speaker 1

Oh yeah , I forgot , Let him go .

Speaker 2

Welcome to the war zone . I guess we could say we did play . How long is this ?

Speaker 1

A few seconds , oh my God . That's why I'm specifically for this .

Speaker 2

The new game was Supreme Resurgence . Yeah , actually it was pretty fun , yeah , I was happy that you actually enjoyed it , because normally you complain the entire time we play Resurgence . Well , actually it was pretty fun . Yeah , I was happy that you actually enjoyed it , because normally you complain the entire time we play Resurgence .

Speaker 1

Well , because at least in this mode the guns that came out of the loot were actually usable against other people that had their loadouts .

Speaker 2

Yeah , these were the better weapons in the game .

Speaker 1

I'm sorry , I'm out of sweat and I can't get my loadout , like 15 seconds after landing .

Speaker 2

Well , we did that one game . Well , yeah , it was , but that's because Snoop Dogg had it and he ran to the buy station , yeah , and I shot him in the back of the head and took all of his stuff because he bought a loadout . He had foresight and I just popped that , threw the loadout , picked up his UAV , hit that too . I was like , oh thanks .

Speaker 1

Thank you . Snoop stuff already , but who cares ?

Speaker 2

We'll took it , it was ours .

Speaker 1

And we won . I mean granted .

Speaker 2

Yeah , we won four games .

Speaker 1

Yeah , it might not be much to other people , but four games and one night is our best so far . We've always maxed out at three .

Speaker 2

Yeah , three's always been kind of the ceiling .

Speaker 1

Hey , granted , we only played for like what we played , maybe four hours . Maybe I think we played a little less Well , that's what I'm saying . At most we played four hours . I'll win an hour . That's not bad .

Speaker 2

That's not terrible .

Speaker 1

I mean we would finish second or third most of the time .

Speaker 2

Yeah , if we didn't get screwed on the circles , but we did watch some gameplay for the new . It looks like the new Resurgence map for Black Ops 6 . Area 99 .

Speaker 1

Yep , I can't tell if it's bigger or the same size as Resurgence .

Speaker 2

I mean it's hard to tell unless you're playing it .

Speaker 1

Yeah , I mean just looking at the map when they jumped in I couldn't tell if it was bigger or not . I mean it can't be much different in size . I just don't know technically whether it's bigger or smaller .

Speaker 2

But I think the next episode we'll talk more about it and some of the changes that are coming .

Speaker 1

Yeah , I'll do a little more research . I didn't realize they'd already put out the Warzone stuff for it , because that's kind of all I care about I don't care about playing the Black Ops campaign .

Speaker 2

No , I don't care about Black Ops' campaign at all . The first two , sure the numbers Mason . That was when Call of Duty campaigns were known to be good . Now it's like I don't care , I just want to play the game and I'm not looking forward to the Black Ops leveling system for the weapons because it just takes too long .

Speaker 1

I'm interested in the zombies mode because it looked better , because it's unlike the DMZ that they just had this one . It's going to be its own map and you're going to be able to travel to different places , but it's not where , it's just levels .

Yeah , level one , two or three zombies it's actually round-based like before , yeah , and it's kind of like the what's the one that had the bus that you could go to different places .

Speaker 2

Yeah .

Speaker 1

You can travel to different places , but it doesn't take you through a fog where you can't see nothing . You have to fight your way there but , there's different locales to go to to get different perks and rewards , stuff that can permanently increase your zombie prestige , or weapons or something like that , as you play its mode .

Speaker 2

I got to pee , so bad .

Speaker 1

Well , real quick no . Real quick , we're going to go through and we're going to give you a little bit of news besides just our Warzone stuff . Since I don't have time to review anything , I was going to review a movie that I've watched .

Speaker 2

We'll do it on the next episode , yeah we will when we talk about top 10 books that we want to be made into games or not , top 10 books we want to be made into movies or TV shows .

Speaker 1

You know , Kevin James right .

Speaker 2

Yes , I know the man .

Speaker 1

Says he's retiring from acting in pursuit of professional boxing . What yeah ?

Speaker 2

At his age .

Speaker 1

Yeah , dana White's actually supporting him as far as like .

Speaker 2

Training him .

Speaker 1

Yeah , but supposedly I didn't realize this until later on , but he's actually an All-American wrestler in college . Yeah , I didn't know that . But yeah , he's pursuing a boxing career . Now he's retiring from acting to go box .

Speaker 2

I'm sure he'll come out of retirement for an Adam Sandler movie or two . Let's be serious .

Speaker 1

Let's see . Tom Hiddleston has reportedly agreed to return as Loki in Avengers , Doomsday and Secret Wars . Let's see what's another bit of news In Game News Plus supposedly Polaris , which is the company that makes the Witcher games , supposedly they're in the process of making a new Witcher game .

Speaker 2

So you have Witcher games .

Speaker 1

Supposedly , they're in the process of making a new Witcher game . Oh , so you have Witcher 4 . And then , according to Small Screen , john Travolta and Nicolas Cage have agreed to return for a face-off 2 .

Speaker 2

What they both need money huh .

Speaker 1

They both need a new face .

Speaker 2

They both need , yeah , they both need money too .

Speaker 1

And then the new Wolfman movies . Early screenings have very good buzz . It's excellent , says Small Screen , which is I'm pretty sure they said Ryan Gosling is playing the guy that's the Wolfman .

Speaker 2

Yeah , eh , I like him . I'd have to see some trailers .

Speaker 1

And then , lastly , netflix is making a no-holds-barred documentary series about Vince McMahon . Yeah , his rise and fall .

Speaker 2

I know you'll watch it and dutifully report it to us on this show .

Speaker 1

Of course , but that's all I'll do for now , because Tom is like Drowning Itching to . I'm drowning .

Speaker 2

Anyway , thank you for listening . My name's Tom Bye . Make sure you play the cutout music too .

Speaker 1

Okay okay . As Tom runs away . My name is Hayden .

Speaker 2

Bleh .
