In this episode Lisa Katz talks to Melissa Strange. Melissa is now a General Contractor's Assistant with Valley Contracting & Renovations after having to pivot her career from the hospitality industry to the construction industry, due to the current pandemic. She talks about her transition from one industry to the other along with where her career is headed.
CEM has joined the "30 by 30" initiative set forth by Engineers Canada with the goal of raising the percentage of newly licensed engineers who are women to 30 per cent by the year 2030.
