#177: Sharan Velauthan | Kindness is free & extremely contagious

Just over a month ago, I had the pleasure of sitting in the front row at TEDx Docklands and watching Sharan speak for the first time. To put it simply, I was blown away by the confidence, maturity and kind nature of this superstar. The first thing I said after his talk was that, "I have to have you on the Energetic Radio podcast because you are simply incredible Sharan".
Sharan Velauthan is a 26-year-old Sri Lankan studying a full-time Masters at RMIT University graduating this May 2020! Sharan grew up with a single mum and kindness and empathy was engrained in him from a young age. After coming to Australia, Sharan has volunteered at the Red Cross, an Ambassador for the Mental Health Foundation of Australia, a workshop facilitator, content creator and strategist, but mainly a Mental Health Advocate using social media to spread a positive message. And, a very humbled and grateful TEDx Speaker!
Sharan's main aim is to help other people to the best of my capability. In hopes that it causes a ripple effect of kindness.
