Episode description

Melissa Curran CEO and Founder of the Modern Mind Group talks about Emotioneering Tech Skills

Many people still shy away from improving their tech skills. The challenge is that as the world evolves there will be more demand for these skills so the sooner we start to embrace some of the technology we have the better prepared and equipped we will be.

Technology is also now a very strong part of how we express ourselves and communicate with the world.

Technophobia is a real thing and, Adam Rutherford a Geneticist featured in The Times, studied the evolution of technology and the effect on people especially technophobia. He concluded that if something is released after the age of 30 that it will be less likely to be adopted.

In this episode recorded live on Clubhouse,  we discuss and answer the questions below -

  • What do we mean about emotioneering tech skills?
  • How can tech skills help us in the world today?
  • What are the challenges with technology?
  • What are the different ways to approach our tech skills?
  • How can I start to enable myself for better tech skills today?
