Do you do things or say things to be nice, or do you work on being kind? In this episode, Evie talks about what it means to be nice and what actually means to be kind. People mistakenly use these two words interchangeably.
Being nice is actually being weak. It stems from your need for other people to accept or like you, but being kind is hard. It’s about you having other people’s interest at heart. Kindness is about helping others.
Evie explains three things that it takes for you to develop kindness including tough conversations, being uncomfortable, and being empathetic. After listening, you’ll be able to step back, and take some time and practice these three steps she explains.
