  • Now several case series showing cardiovascular involvement or complications related to COVID-19
  • While these case series may shed light on the nature of COVID-19 complications, it's worth remembering that so far these cases represent a few unique instances and we need more studies and data to pronounce COVID-19 infected patients at higher risk of thromboembolic events like strokes and heart attacks
