The Process of Redirection

Dr. Tavara Johnson interviews Syreeta Moody. Ms. Moody is the CEO of Special Hands Outreach, LLC and a Professional School Counselor who has been in the education system for 15 years. Her passion is helping disproportionate children to achieve academic success, develop an understanding of college/career opportunities and foster the development of effective social skills and emotional regulation when faced with difficult circumstances. Her time in the education system has revealed many areas of need, the largest area is the trauma and adverse childhood experiences that affect children's brain development and hinders academic growth and daily life fulfillment. As an advocate to mental and emotional health, my charge is to be the change agent that takes the time to walk alongside a child to find freedom from their trauma's and develop their strengths to inspire and empower change so children are free to be their best selves.
