Episode description

Ignaz Semmelweis was a physician in Vienna around the middle 1800's. He discovered that by washing his hands, the mortality rate of women and babies in his care went down significantly. What seems like common sense now was not so readily accepted by his colleagues. There is more to washing our hands than just the germs, we must learn to wash the hands of our past and move forward with a cleaner slate. Enjoy!
