Joel is a mission-driven consultant and serial entrepreneur focused on emergency & disaster risk management, and homeland security. He has led the development and implementation of innovative award-winning programs at local, state, national and international levels.

He is CEO of SPIN Global and inventor of PlanetReady.com and ResponderCQ.com. He serves as a Senior Fellow at Tulane University's Disaster Resilience Leadership Academy. He is also a founding partner of Pour Taproom.

Specialties: Business, project management, program development and implementation of government and community-based initiatives, including critical infrastructure protection, incident management, information sharing, interoperability, disaster resilience, educational programs, and international development.
