Today we are discussing the issue of managing donations. This is also known as the second disaster. Steve Major with Coordin8 (C8) shares his idea of developing an app that allows direct donations to the people impacted by the disaster. Steve sees this as a transparent way for people to crowdsource the recovery effort.
One of the areas that we need to harden is our critical infrastructure. This includes the power grid, cybersecurity and more. So I reached out to the program and Tiernan Doyle called me back. Boulder Colorado Strong or BOCO Strong at they call it is an outstanding model program that we all should be looking at.
