Beast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, recently conducted an experiment by uploading a video to Elon Musk's social media platform X and the purpose was to evaluate the platform's ad revenue potential as stated in his video description, he said. I'm curious how much ad revenue a video on X would make, so I'm re uploading this to test it. We'll share Ad Rev next week

now. This move marks a significant shift for Mr. Beast, who previously expressed skepticism about the viability of sharing his high budget content on X. Now, despite a friendly relationship with Musk, he'd remarked that even a billion views on X would not cover a fraction of his production costs. However, his latest upload titled $1.00 Car versus $100 million car rapidly gained traction, garnering 27,000,000

views within just seven hours. This demonstrates Mr. B substantial influence and reach transcending platforms. Now the decision to test out XS platform comes in the wake of changes implemented by Musk, including an ad revenue sharing scheme introduced last year. The scheme aims to incentivize content creators by offering the share of ad revenue for posts.

Now as a February, the new monetization strategy had already dispersed $5,000,000 to creators with some reporting significant earnings in this development shows that Musk's ongoing efforts to transform X into a more creator friendly ecosystem are working. Now EX CEO Linda Yaccarino has been actively promoting the platform to content creators.

Recent additions to X include shows featuring prominent figures like Don Lemon and Tulsi Gabbard, reflecting the platform's expanding content diversity. And the response to Mr. Beast's video on X has been overwhelmingly positive, with users expressing excitement over having high profile creators like him on the platform.

Now this enthusiasm is a clear indicator of the potential shift in the online video sharing space, and Mr. Beast's experiment on X shows that he's established on YouTube, where he has an active user base, and he's been on it since 2012. His rise to fame began in 2018, characterized by his unique approach of donating money, cash money to various online

personalities. And in terms of revenue, Mr. Beast is a powerhouse, reportedly earning $54 million in 2021. He's recognized as one of the highest paid content creators on YouTube, pulling in about $5,000,000 monthly, according to Forbes. X's monetization structure is notably different from

YouTube's, though. To be eligible for AD revenue sharing on X, users must subscribe to either its Premium or Premium Plus plans, whereas the YouTube requires 100, I'm sorry, 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours. Now the collaboration between Musk and Mr. B signifies a potential shift in content distribution strategies, and if successful, it could encourage other creators to consider alternative platforms like X for their content.

Musk encouragement of Mr. BS to join X shows that the strategy to boost the platform's appeal is by attracting high profile and influential content creators. This approach is central to Musk's vision for X as a major player in the digital content era and Mr. Beast.

Venture into X territory is a huge test for the platform's ability to support high quality, high cost content, and this is an important case study for other creators evaluating the viability of diversifying their platform portfolios in their presence across the web. Now, the outcome of this experiment will be closely watched as it may signal a new era in content monetization and distribution.

Mr. B's success or failure on X could have significant repercussions for content creators and platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube, and the integration of prominent content creators like Mr. B's is vital for X's growth strategy. Their presence not only attracts A wider audience, but also enhances the platform's credibility and diversity in content offerings.

And the relationship between Mr. Beast and Musk, characterized by mutual engagement on social media, exemplifies the growing convergence of technology and entertainment. The synergy could pave the way for innovative content strategies and collaborations in the Feedback from EX users regarding Mr. Beast's video has been mixed, with some praising the move as a smart experiment and others curious about the audience appeal for his content on a different platform.

This reaction shows that the dynamic nature of audience preferences across various social media platforms is just that diverse. And as the digital content landscape continues to evolve, the experiment by Mr. Beast on us represents A crucial development. It signals the potential for shifts in where and how digital content is consumed and monetized. And Mr. Beast's for A into X shows an important juncture in content creation and distribution.

The success of this experiment on X could move Mr. Beast away from YouTube at least a little bit towards X where he could potentially earn as much revenue as he could on YouTube.
