Pastor Phil brings us the second installment of our current "Leverage" series and finishes out his message by leading us in communion.
Amid the changes in our daily lives and in the world at large, due to the coronavirus, Pastor Phil discusses how we can and should use this time to leverage our situation and, as believers in Christ, seize this unusual opportunity to live out our faith even more...both in the world and in our homes.
With everything going on around us, God’s word speaks directly to the heart of everyone who considers themselves a Christian. Join us as Pastor Phil helps us discover how to live in Faith, not in fear, to live sacrificially, not selfishly, and to let your light shine, and not hide it.
Pastor Phil walks us through a recap of the last 4 weeks in James and then leaves us with 5 important questions as we finish this impactful sermon series.
Today, Pastor Phil discusses how, in James Chapter 4, the apostle of Christ wrote about the origins of war, lust, and life's uncertainties. He claimed that the reason that the people he was writing to did not have what they wanted was because they either did not ask for it or they asked for the wrong thing to simply satisfy their lust. Pastor Phil poses the question, "Are we doing the same things in our lives now?"
In this weeks message, Pastor Daniel discusses, not only the importance of speaking truth in love, but also about understanding why it can hurt instead of help if you only speak truth without love...or love without truth.
In this message, Pastor Phil helps us to understand how Paul's message that faith does not need works to be legitimate, and James' message that Faith + Works are necessary in order to live a true life of faith, are not actually in contradiction with one another, and instead, go hand in hand in understanding what a life of faith should really look like.
As we enter into a new sermon series, Pastor Daniel discusses the need for understanding the context of scripture, reasons why we should embrace and not run away from suffering, and the healthy things we can do to help us endure suffering while we are in the midst of it.
In the final installment from our New Year's teaching series, entitled, "Awake", Pastor Phil teaches on the ways that we, as Christians, "grow up" in the ways of the Kingdom of God. Join in as he discusses how we must "eat", hear, think, talk, walk, and become dependent on the holy spirit, as we mature as believers....and then, ultimately, become mature disciple makers.
In this message, our special guest speaker, Brian Clark, talks with us about the importance of stepping outside of our comfort zones and taking action in order to be the hands and feet of Christ and show His light to the world.

As we are entering into a new year...and a new decade, we chose to use this new beginning as an opportunity to "Awake" and see God with a renewed and fresh perspective.
