Before we focus on our purpose, we have to focus on our destiny to conform to the ways of Jesus. We have to learn what Jesus is like! We cannot just serve God when it's convenient. Jesus didn't die on the cross for comfortable Christianity! Jesus came to pay the price for our sins. Because He suffered for us, we have to suffer for Him. If we're going to follow Jesus, it won't be easy. Without the power of God in our walk, our Christian faith is no good. When serving God gets difficult, we don't quit! If we have no sacrifice in our lives, there is no power of God.
