Melanie is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Zapmap , the EV mapping service for electric car charging points that help electric car drivers locate and navigate to their nearest EV charging point. She is also the  Co-Founder of Next Green Car, a groundbreaking initiative that she and her business partner, Ben Lane, established in 2010. Their primary goal was to assist consumers in navigating the myriad of technical details and complexities involved in choosing an environmentally friendly car.  Melanie and Ben developed the innovative Next Green Car rating system to address this challenge. This comprehensive and insightful tool assesses the environmental impact of vehicles throughout their entire life cycle, going beyond tailpipe emissions and considering factors such as air quality, production, and fuel usage. Melanie's unwavering dedication to promoting sustainable transport and clean energy has positioned her as a prominent leader and advocate in the industry. Her passion for promoting eco-friendly transportation options continues to drive her commitment to creating positive change in the automotive industry.
