Deuteronomy 1:1a These are the words which Moses spoke unto all
Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness,

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

Psalm 34:12,13 Who is the man who desires life, and loves many days,
that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from
speaking deceit.

Ephesians 4:29,31 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths,
but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may
give grace to those who hear. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and
clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
