"In our exile, listen as we plead. God, lean down and listen. Open Your eyes and see our despair. See how Your city—the city that bears Your name—lies in ruins. We make this plea, not because we deserve help, but because of Your mercy.
Lord, hear. Lord, forgive. Lord, listen and act! For Your own sake, do not delay, O my God, for Your people and Your city bears Your name.
Lord, when correction hurts or when I resist Your discipline, help me to remember the Father’s delight. Help me to not resent correction, but to yield. Like an athlete listening to the coach - knowing that the coach’s heart is to bring out the best in us as individuals and as a team. I trust in Your hand. I trust in Your way. Amen"
