Daniel 5 | The Writing on the Wall

Prayer: God of Power, God of All. You give and You take away. Keep me far from the temptation of arrogance that leads me to believe that I hold the scales of my life. Instead, soften my spirit. Make my posture be one of humility. Knowing it is YOU who holds each day, each breath in Your hands. And in holy reverence, may I look to Jesus, our Teacher, our savior, as the blueprint for my life and actions. Help me to be like Him. Open my eyes to see what power you have given me, and may I use all of it - my being, my voice, my resources, my all, for Your glory. Amen.
