Our Father
Who art in heaven
I speak to you familiarly like a child to a parent
asking for help
asking for wisdom.

Hallowed be thy name
You are creator of all
To whom and from whom all life is made
beats and breathes from Your breath.

Thy Kingdom Come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
You rule over all.
What the enemy has tried to tarnish,
You are making it good.
You are making all things new.

Give us this day our daily bread
may I remember that I don’t live on bread alone,
but by Your very word.

Forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
We are prone to wander - prone to sin.
Give us the grace we need, and may we mirror that grace to others.

and lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
Instruct our thoughts, our actions
that we might participate in what You’re doing.

for Yours is the kingdom
Yours is the power
and Yours is the glory

we sing Your praises
from generation to generation
for You are our Good and everlasting King.
