Urban News Service with Niger Innis, an American Media Institute Production Urban News Service with Niger Innis is the first weekly public radio series to focus on African-American entrepreneurs, school reformers, community heroes, and cultural leaders. While media obsesses over black men in handcuffs, we cover the many making a positive contribution – and their compelling personal stories. The series is a production of American Media Institute, a 501(c)(3) non-profit news organization.
