Episode description

The Journey to Eurosong 2025 continues! This year, six incredible artists will compete for the chance to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. In this exciting mini-series, Conor, Lou, and Alex will dive deep into the songs vying for your vote and chat with the stars themselves ahead of the live show on The Late Late Show on February 7th. In today's episode, we're joined by Reylta! A singer-songwriter from rural Ireland, Reylta weaves bittersweet melodies with an alternative edge, creating music deeply rooted in Irish heritage. Inspired by Ireland's poetic traditions, evocative landscapes, and rich storytelling, her sound combines poetic lyrics, lush string arrangements, and haunting harmonies for a uniquely transcendent experience.

Since 2017, Reylta has performed with her band, gaining attention with her debut single Fools Games in 2019. Her first album, Everything Unsaved Will Be Lost, released last October, earned critical acclaim, with the Irish Independent crowning her "Galway’s Alt Folk Queen."

She'll be singing her song, 'Fire' on Eurosong 2025.
