Rod Fencham from the Queensland Herbarium talks about the myrtle rust disease which has virtually wiped out the population of native guava trees along the east coast of Australia; Jorja Collins from Monash University and Eastern Health talks about the opportunities to improve the nutrition and environmental footprint of hospital food; and Dr Jennifer Sanger from The Tree Projects talks about her team’s research which found that previously logged forests burn more severely than old-growth forests.
