Marcus is a music producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, singer, social media influencer, best-selling author, activist, and entrepreneur. Hailing from Norfolk, Virginia, and child to equal parts  inspiring and supportive parents, Marcus got into music early, learning the piano at just two years old. His interest in music carried him well into his teens and adulthood where after a brief stint in the record industry working for Universal Music and later BMG his entrepreneurial drive set him on a path all his own. As an independent “creative technologist” Marcus has promoted, produced, remixed, and written for some of the world’s best-known superstars and brands. His list of credits includes artists like Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and Timbaland, and companies like Sony Music, HBO, Netflix, Amazon, and more. We’ve got a lot of ground to cover so let’s get going.
