Episode description

Horcock has told his old Confederate colleagues he wants nothing to do with them. He won't help them against  revenger vigilantes from the 31st Infantry, so why won't they leave town? What are they waiting for?

Content Warning: This story will involve reports of confederate racism.
Content Warning 2: In this session, table disciple was cast aside - somebody (Dave mostly) was eating biscuits close to his mic. I did the best I could but I have not managed to get rid of all the munching. Use the chapter timings if you want to skip the worst of it, or if your podcatcher dies use chapters skip to 36minutes in. Believe me, it's worth enduring to  the cliff-hanger.

We are sharing one of our playtests for Tales of the Old West, the game we are creating. As is the nature of the beast, the rules are ever changing and the current iteration (available exclusively to Stationary and Privileged Patrons) has a number of differences from what you hear in this episode. It'd be Las Cruces, which is 50 something miles to the south. Don't know where the other map's gone. So here we go. Las Cruces is there. The scale is 5 miles per thing. There it is. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. About 12. So it's about 60 miles to the south.

Yeah. They probably have. Or actually, I think, no. Their horses are probably not there. There there is a dog, a very big and evil looking dog tied up to the to the horse post out there, which one of them unties. Mhmm. And then they walk, down to the path and then back up to the road.

Marion Freeman

Dave (GM)

No. It's not very far. What is 2? 2 is a sundown, isn't it? Yeah. They notice you watching, but then they head this way. By by this way, they they are heading up into the center of town. Yeah. For the purposes of the tape.

They know him from the past. But the key then is I don't care what happens to them. My sympathies lie more with those that are chasing them as within themselves. But whatever happens with them don't need to happen in this town which has seen enough violence already. I'll show you the way.

So I am somewhat disturbed that they haven't left town already. Then there just be a posse riding through. We can wish them luck as they go. But they haven't left town. They're looking to make some kind of stand here, and I think it's because of the presence of mister Hawcock.
