Episode description

On the 24th episode of EdUp EdTech, I got to chat with Dr. Barbi Honeycutt. She’s the host of the Lecture Breakers Podcast and an entrepreneur celebrating 10 years of working for herself. During this episode, we chat about all the incredible things Barbi is doing for faculty development and professional development. She also shares some tips for others who may be looking into the world of freelancing.

More About Barbi

For the past 20 years, Dr. Barbi Honeycutt has facilitated thousands of professional development events for educators from around the world and it all started with an internship at a local teaching center. From intern to office administrator, to director, Barbi worked her way up there. It was in those workshops at the teaching center that she helped organize that led her to her passion for creating effective and engaging learning experiences. She eventually left that teaching center and turned her work into her own, full-time business.
