Dr. Aletha Harven is a university professor and global teacher educator with expertise in the areas of education, educational psychology, child and adolescent development, P-16 education, social justice teaching, teacher education and diversity, equity & inclusion. She is ALWAYS engaged in scholarly work related to racial and social justice, including publishing on equity-related topics and creating critical programming to address the needs of students from stigmatized and underserved communities. And, she designs and conducts teacher trainings in the US and Africa.
