The community can grow food only three months of the year, during the rainy season – and the rest of the year is getting drier and drier with climate change. The people of Sobata dream of transforming their community into a thriving ecovillage by helping to restore and regenerate the natural cycles in their bioregion, as well as by increasing their resilience to some of the inevitable effects of global climate change.
