Are you looking to build an online business that can give you a location-independent income that will allow you to travel around the world, become a digital nomad, be an expat, see all the different cities in the world, and be able to live a lifestyle that is free of a nine-to-five grind and an office and a boss?
Well, my name is Trevor Fenner. I'm here to introduce you to a business model called high-ticket dropshipping, and I want to tell you about how awesome this business model is for building a really sustainable sustainable, location-dependent, lucrative income.
So if you've ever tried things like dropshipping and you haven't been successful with it, or you just really don't know how it works and you have doubts, well, I'm here to kind of like tell you why this particular version of dropshipping works better than all the other versions of dropshipping and why it's definitely worth looking more into. High-ticket dropshipping means you're selling expensive products.
So instead of selling a $100 or $200 product, you're going to sell a $1,000 or $2,000 product. Now the profit margins are pretty similar, maybe around 20%, give or take 10%. So maybe somewhere between 10% and 30%. When you sell a $100 product, that means you're making 10 to 30 bucks. But when you sell a $1,000 product, that means you're making $100 to $300 per product, right? So it makes way more sense to sell high ticket products because you need less sales overall to make a sustainable income.
If you look at your personal budget, or just how much money you spend on a monthly basis, You might spend maybe close to like $3,000 to $5,000. It's pretty average these days for living in a big city and having a car and having a house or a home like an apartment and getting around and stuff like that, eating food, traveling and stuff like that. It's pretty average budget. Sometimes you can spend more, especially if you have a family or if you just like to go out and travel a lot or party a lot.
But generally speaking, that amount of income is definitely doable because with high ticket drop shipping, and you only need maybe like, let's say one sale can produce $100 to $300 of income or more, then you only need maybe 10 sales per month or 20 sales per month, maybe 30 at the most to get an income that is sustainable for you.
Okay, so this, you know, 10, 20, 30 sales a month is definitely doable that break it down, that's maybe, you know, one, or one to three sales, you know, let's just say maybe one sale a day, as low as two to three sales a week. So if you're making one sale per day, that's 30 sales a month, you know, one to $300 per sale, that's. Going to be a great income for you. If you're making three to four sales a week or something like that, it's still going to be a decent income.
And you can start as like a side hustle thing, and you can also grow it to be something that's full-time. A lot of people start this stuff while they're working a full-time job and then grow it to becoming a full-time income. So with high-ticket dropshipping, it comes with its own set of challenges.
Specifically some things like financial challenges, like you're going to need some credit, some business credit cards and stuff like that to buy your cost of goods sold, to buy ads and things like that. But then you're also going to need to be able to manage cash flow. So keeping track of expenses and keeping track of income through bookkeeping spreadsheets is also a really good skill to build.
You're going to need to overcome challenges. Like if you want to get suppliers, you're usually going to have to email or call them or follow up with them and speak with them. So you need sales and negotiation skills. If you want to get customers, you're going to need to learn how to run an ad account, a Google ad account.
And you're going to need to learn how to do SEO and content and, you know, drive links back to your website, do social media marketing and, you know, be able to learn how to outsource and get graphics made and, you know, hire team members to do things for you like customer service and things like that. So there are challenges, especially with scaling a business, any business, but it's definitely learnable and it can all be done from the comfort of your home.
As you can see right now, my home office is just basically in my living room kitchen that I have here at my house in Bali. I'm working on actually setting up a whole separate room that will be ready in a week or two for filming these videos. It'll be like a home office room. But right now I just have it set up here. And you can do a similar thing with your house. You don't have to even have a separate home office.
You can just have a certain space in your house, in your living room, or in your bedroom even to set up as a home office. You just need a fast internet connection and a decent computer. And you can basically do anything with this business just from that. And also you'll need obviously a phone, some sort of a smartphone. But a little bit about me, I started out with High Ticket Dropshipping back around 2010, 2011.
I started selling bicycles online, which were maybe $300 to $1,000 on average with the price point. And the average margin was like 10% to 30%, like I was saying before. So on the high end, I was making a few hundred bucks per sale, maybe up to $1,000 on profit per sale. On the low end, maybe $50 to $100 per sale, but usually I didn't go much lower than that. And it took a little while to scale the business in the beginning, the first few years, because I didn't know how to do ads.
I was just using SEO, but I was able to scale up to around 100,000 in sales in 2013 throughout that year. And then once I learned how to run an ad account, I was able to scale up quite a bit more to 500,000 in sales in the year 2014. And then after that, I learned how to develop my skills better, do conversion rate optimization, run an ad account better and scale an ad account, scale SEO, outsource and choose better niches, things like that.
I was able to scale up and And during the pandemic, I was able to grow a business to upwards of around seven to eight million in sales, actually closer to around 10 million in sales between all the different stores I had going on, two or three different stores around that time. And then I was able to get an exit from that.
Nowadays, I'm teaching high ticket dropshipping because I'm still doing it myself, making upwards of 100 to 200,000 per month in sales, which is around one to two million per year on average.
Leverage you know and so i do that myself and i'm also teaching people how to do it because i have a team and i outsource all my work now and i have everybody do it for me while i focus on the teaching and coaching and things like that and scaling the business being like the ceo of the business so i help everybody out there and i have a you know a huge course that i've built out called the high ticket job should be master class and what i've done is i've taken all my different
things that i've learned how to do over the years and i taught all my vas how to do it through filming videos, which is what I teach how to do in the masterclass. When you have your business, in order to scale it, you've got to make videos and train a team and have the team do it for you in the future. So I did that. And I actually trained them how to build new stores for me too. So all those training materials I made for my team, I put into the masterclass.
And so you can basically watch the videos yourself, you know, build your own store, scale it, and then actually give the videos directly to your team to give to them to be able to build new stores for you or scale your store. So the whole point of the masterclass is kind of a done with you over the shoulder approach to high ticket dropshipping. Not just like I tell you how to do it, but to show you how to do it course.
And you can get more information on that at ecommerceparadise.com slash masterclass. If you want a free niches list, list of 100 different niche ideas, like different product categories you can sell online. So you kind of get the ball rolling with your ideas. You can check that out at ecommerceparadise.com slash niches.
So get some idea on what product you want to sell and just like, you know, kind of try to determine the best mix of like something that's profitable, something that you know about, or have some sort of interest in selling and bring those two together. Make sure there's enough demand, enough supply, things like that. I do also have a course that's just specifically for niche research, market research, niche selection, and supplier recruiting.
And because that's kind of the first stage of all this is to be able to choose your product and choose your market, choose your messaging and your branding, and then also recruit suppliers. So if you're interested in that, you can go to ecommerceparadise.com slash niche hacks. And also just go to academy.ecommerceparadise.com. All the courses are up there.
Ecommerceparadise.com is the blog and website where I sell services directly related to high ticket dropshipping, like ad management, SEO management. Backlinks, content, virtual resistant recruiting and training services, things like that. You can check it all out there.
But high ticket dropshipping is such a great way to get started because you'll be able to build a business that is not just based around digital products or small one-off fad based physical products, but high ticket dropshipping is like an evergreen thing. So these suppliers and these products are going to be selling year after year, and it's not going to really go out of style ever.
I mean, there are certain, you know, ups and downs with certain industries, but a lot of industries are very evergreen industries. There's some seasonality with some industries, but this stuff is very long term sustainable. And you can also run ad accounts. And once you kind of get into a certain level, after a few months, they're pretty much just like check it and let it run kind of ad accounts.
You don't really have to do a whole lot to scale them. So there's so much that I love about this business model. And that's the reason I teach it.
