Intro / Opening

Hey guys, well Black Friday is coming up. It's right around the corner.

Black Friday Preparations

As of this recording, it's going to be just a few days from now. So Black Friday, Cyber Monday, this whole weekend is like one of the biggest shopping holidays of the year, where everybody goes to the local stores and online to find deals. And everybody's just expecting there to be sales and to go buy stuff that they've been wanting to buy for a while. And, you know, it kind of aligns to with people usually get their paychecks

on Friday and it's also Thanksgiving. so they just spent a lot of time with family and now they're all grateful, feeling and they want to give gifts to each other. So it's a great kind of pre-programmed way for a lot of online retailers to just make a lot of money and make more sales than usual.

So the way you capitalize on it is by ramping up your ad spend for that particular weekend, making email broadcasts, making graphics for the website, making a sale that's a deeper discount than what you usually offer and maybe having some special free gifts for certain suppliers and products. And you can reach out to all of your suppliers and get any special pricing they may have offered or additional free offers that they have and put that on your website.

Also, you just want to make sure that your VA is going to work those particular days, especially on that Friday and that Monday full shift.

Call Answering Services Explained

If you have a VA that can work through the weekend, that's ideal. If not, you can hire a call service, or you can just take voicemails and have your VA call them back. But the most ideal setup is to have a VA that works 9 to 6 US hours, or 9 to 5 US hours, and then have a call service for the evenings and weekends. Because that way, at least someone's going to answer the phones. If someone just wants to place an order over the phone, they can do that with the call-insering service.

If they have some kind of issue, they can take a message and send an email to the support VA and when they're back in the office they can deal with it and follow up with the customer. But it's at least somebody to talk to. If the customer just goes to a voice mailbox, then often times they won't think the store is very professional. So call answering services, kind of expensive, but they work great.

I've used ones in the past like PatLive and Red Ruby. There's some other ones that are fine as well. So just definitely look up call answering services. Ruby's not a bad one. Ruby's pretty cool. Usually they're going to have an onboarding process for you. So you're going to supply them with your web store name and the domain and all that.

And also just sort of give them some idea of the products they're selling and things they should know, top selling suppliers, that kind of stuff maybe, top selling products, anything special they need to know about your website, all the contact info. So, and then, you know, as you go and deal with it, they're going to have agents that probably have absolutely nothing to do with your website. I have no idea what your website's about answering calls.

So they're going to, you know, not really know a lot, but they can pull your website up and look at it. So they can answer like easy product questions. You can just tell them, hey, have the agents, have ChatGPT ready. If the customer has a question, pop it into ChatGPT. You know, ChatGPT can now look up the internet. So that's a huge improvement. So it can probably answer most of the questions that customers have.

Effective Email Strategies for Sales

So yeah call answering service is great definitely get that going but yeah it's the holiday season coming up so just make sure you're prepared and get excited, time to make a lot of money holidays are great so just don't forget set up those emails email broadcasts are the best you can set up multiple emails on Friday and multiple emails on Monday not just one email, that usually helps one in the morning one in the evening,

yeah and then I would just say promote your best selling products as well So, you know, really just put up there the best-selling suppliers, best-selling products. It's the best way to go. So if you guys need help, definitely hit me up for some private coaching.
