ECL@DMU Just a Minute Pod
Episode description
Inspired by BBC Radio 4's Just a Minute, hosted by Nicholas Parsons, two friends take each other on to see who can talk for just a minute. The first speaker is given a topic/subject, and must talk about that topic without hesitation or pausing, if the speaker does pause etc, then their friend can interrupt. The timer is stopped and a question can be asked. Each question asked equals 1 minus point! The timer is started again and the speaker continues until a minute is up! The roles are then reversed, the winner is the one who spoke for a minute with the least number of questions asked!
For our first pod, two 5th year students, Takeo and Eugene, bravely volunteered to take part and what a lot of laughs were had, all thanks to them!
