It took my doctor telling me that I was going to live with debilitating symptoms for the rest of my life for me to wake up and truly realize that unless I took my health into my own hands, I would continue to suffer in pain. I had the biggest mental breakdown I ever had in my car and then I wiped my tears away and said fu*k no. I am going to figure this out. And that is exactly what I did.
