Episode 144 - Mining For Baseballs

We head to Alaska to talk about the Alaska Baseball League and specifically the Mat-Su Miners. The Miners are a summer collegiate league team ran by GM Pete Christopher. Pete tells about his previous jobs prior to taking on the role with the Miners. Pete shares what his players enjoy about playing baseball in Alaska and how his childhood idol led to his Proffitt. With most of the Alaska teams playing in the NBC World Series in Wichita for years, Pete tells us about the last team he took them to the premier summer collegiate tournament.
