When Maggie Kane started telling people about her dream of opening a pay-what-you-can cafe in the heart of downtown Raleigh, most people thought she was a little loony. But others believed in her vision, and they were willing to do what it took to make her vision a reality. They donated money, equipment, and their time to build not only a restaurant, but a community cafe where all are welcome.
A Place at the Table is located at 300 W. Hargett St in Raleigh North Carolina.
