Episode description

Another opportunity to hear a discussion during this event on the Glascoed farm.  The sheep expert, Kate Phillips will lead the discussion between Alwyn and Dylan Nutting and talk about the findings of the review carried out at Glascoed to identify areas of opportunity for further optimization and their plans for the future.  Alwyn and Dylan will share how making the best use of forage and incorporating multi-species leys into their rotational grazing program has played a role in achieving a notable reduction in external inputs while maintaining production levels. Also joining in the conversation will be Non Williams, Farming Connect's Carbon Specialist Officer who will discuss the link between improving the overall efficiency of a farm and its carbon footprint.   We apologize that the sound quality is not ideal in this edition as it was a very windy day at Glascoed farm.
