- We understand better systems to support us, and
- We can better accept the challenges of dyslexia.
Talking to other people with dyslexia and understanding the reality of dyslexia, with the broader range of challenges beyond under spelling and reading, helps to feel less isolated and alone.
When you know that you're not the only one experiencing these broad range of challenges, they seem more manageable.
