I am all about working in a way that supports how our brains opperate. But, what do we do when where we work dosen't support this and how do we communicate to our employers the opportunities of our dyslexic strengths?
In this episode, I discuss how I started out in the corporate world and could not see why my strengths of Dyslexia, like big picture thinking, would be of any use in my job. The more speak with adult dyslexics the more I see that I am not alone in this and many of us are confused by how our dyslexic strengths could actually be of any use in our jobs.
Through my own lived experience, and through many conversations with dyslexic adults, I have found strategies and ways of communicating to my employers why my dyslexic strengths are a real asset to their business, and I am going to share these tips with you in this episode.
