Chicago musician, poet, and educator Matt Muse makes his Dynasty Podcasts debut in an interview recorded at Virgin Hotels.

Muse looks back on growing up in a household filled with music, with his mother in the choir and his father a house music producer. Adding to his adolescent inspiration was his father gifting him a drum machine in middle school.

Muse speaks on connecting with Young Chicago Authors in 2015, and shares his experiences as an instructor at YCA in the present day. The artist also sheds light on the concept of his recent mixtape, The SiKK Tape, which is set in a dystopian Chicago apocalypse.
