This week on the show we have Nick Maxwell! Nick is one of the AFL’s greatest success stories, going from the rookie list to an AFL Premiership Captain, leading the Collingwood Football Club to a drought breaking flag in 2010. Nick was known on the field for his hard work and team first mindset, which translated into becoming one of the league's most well respect captains. Nick's excellent leadership capabilities have helped him transition to life post football career; becoming a successful leadership coach with the Melbourne Storm, running his own leadership consultancy 'NJM Consulting', and now currently holding the role of GM Performance & Operations at Collingwood Football Club. We chat with Nick about his hard road to an AFL list, the Collingwood captaincy, grand finals, premierships, and what he thinks being a good leader means.
