Let's go! Table for two for dinner. Tafel voor twee voor het diner. How long is the wait? Hoe lang is het wachten? We’ll add our name to the waitlist. Wij voegen onze naam toe aan de wachtlijst. Can we sit by the window? Kunnen we bij het raam zitten? Actually, could we sit in the booth instead? Kunnen we eigenlijk in het hokje gaan zitten? We would both like water with no ice. We willen allebei graag water zonder ijs. Do you have a beer and wine list? Heeft u een bier- en wijnkaart?

What beers do you have on tap? Welke bieren heb je op de tap? I’d like a glass of red wine. Ik wil graag een glas rode wijn. What is the soup of the day? Wat is de soep van de dag? I’ll try the seasonal special. Ik zal de seizoensspecial proberen. Does that come with anything? Brengt dat iets met zich mee? Are the burgers served with fries? Worden de burgers geserveerd met friet? Can I have sweet potato fries with that instead? Kan ik daar in plaats daarvan zoete frietjes bij krijgen?

On second thought, I'll just have what he’s having. Bij nader inzien neem ik gewoon wat hij drinkt. Can you recommend a white wine to go with that? Kunt u daarbij een witte wijn aanbevelen?
