Women are still only inheriting about 10% of family farms in Australia. The reasons behind this are historical and complex. But what's at play when a woman (or "farmer's daughter") decides she doesn't want to go back to take over the family farm? Is because she has better career options off-farm or does it point to gender bias in society?
