Crystalis is, first and foremost, a pretty good game. There are fun details about its story, and why they still honor the American dollar, but mostly it serves as a good launching point for talking about the absurdities of NextDoor.

Welcome to the new Unfilmable! In our pivot to talking about horror media more broadly, we've decided to talk about the excellent horror anthology series "Tim and Eric's Bedtime Stories". We know Tim and Eric aren't for everyone, but we think you should give this series a shot because their approach works really well for telling horror stories. We cover the pilot, "Haunted House", and the first three main episodes of the show, "Hole", "Toes", and "Bathroom Boys".

It's rare that we find something so strange and awful that we need to share it in its entirety. This strange Snow White "game" is one of those awful things. This is a low effort minigame collection where each game clumsily uses assets from the centerpiece of the product, a seven minute animated retelling of the story of Snow White. Except is bad. Really bad. At a certain point we decide to just do a commentary of it, so click here to follow along if you want to....

We'll be up front with you: this is not our favorite episode of the Venture Bros. Team Venture heads to Brisbyland at the request of the business magnate Roy Brisby, a stand-in for Walt Disney. Unfortunately, Brisby is a megalomaniac, and the boys get wrapped up in a paramilitary effort to thwart his landgrabbing ways. Special thanks to Joshua Jarett for our cover art, Gwen May for our theme song, and Brayton Cameron for being our announcer....

Is there a name for the kind of stealth horror game that's popular with streamers? Things like Hello Neighbor and Bendy and the Ink Machine? Whatever that is, this is one of those, but with a fun, crappy educational vibe. Truth is, this is actually pretty good and fun, so we range far afield on this episode.

This week, we begin our coverage of Mortal Shell, a 2020 soulslike with some very unique touches. You play as a strange creature who can inhabit certain dead bodies, and these "shells" become your character class as you navigate the dead kingdom of Fallgrim, collecting glands for a large bird. This episode covers the generalities and the tutorial, going over all of the ways this differs from your regular soulslike, and discussing how those changes add up to a pretty nifty interpretation of the f...

The arcade hit Dragon's Lair was already more cartoon than game, so you'd think it wouldn't be hard to push it all the way to one side and make an animated series out of it. The problem is, you also have to have plots, and dialogue, and all kinds of hard things. This show ended up being one of the more boring things we've covered for Adaptation Decay, and that's saying something.

It's a two-villain pileup on this week's ORB! Baron Ünderbheit has sworn vengeance on Rusty Venture after he shirked his duties as a lab partner. You may be thinking, "Hey guys! That Capcom NES Little Mermaid game wasn't bad! What gives?" And you're right. The only crime that game commits is being too simple. Freddy is objectively the most entertaining of the slasher monsters. But how could he get better? Sure, he has clashed with Jason before, but that's not a conflict of like vs. like. We propose a friendly rivalry between Freddy and Beetlejuice, where they can really sharpen their blades against each other... As long as Lydia doesn't make Beetlejuice soft first.

Before they hit it big with Halo, Bungie was a favorite studio for many Macintosh people because of the Marathon series. With graphics that were ahead of their time, fun and inventive multiplayer modes, and (most importantly) an intricate and sprawling story, there was a lot to like. But when played today, do its wide open and aimless levels invite wonder or frustration?
