Yes friends, we're still waiting on this X-Men Evolution show to pick up and do some cool stuff. In the meantime, here are two episodes that are...ok. First up is Shadowed Past, in which Kurt learns some of his family history and Xavier keeps more secrets. Then it's onto Grim Reminder, which is probably the worst Weapon X adaptation we've ever seen or read. Yeesh!

Peter Bemis joins us to talk about Way of the Samurai, a strange and forward-looking game from the early days of the PS2 era. There's something wrong with the Whateley boy. This 1970 adaptation of the Dunwich Horror was produced by Roger Corman, which should say everything you need to know. It's a very loose treatment of the short story, which is mostly a history of the Whateley family with a big ol' monster battled added onto the end. The movie, instead, makes the story about seduction and abduction, but the plan remains: summon Yog-Sothoth at all costs.

We have a very good problem. Too many of you patronize us, and too many of you ask good questions. We weren't able to fit all of your prompts and topics into a regular Dispatch episode, so we decided to let them overflow to this special presentation. We will do this from time to time in order to make sure our backlog of questions doesn't get too long.

Hello true believers, this week Jeremy and Gary are covering two episodes of X-Men Evolution. The first, S01E08 is called SpykeCam, is the story of young Spyke finding a video camera and then immediately invading the privacy of every woman he knows with it. Oh, and Sabretooth is there. The second, S01E09, is titled Survival of the Fittest, and is the story of what happens to mutants who can't use their powers. No wait, that's not it. It's the story of why heroes don't need their powers. No, wait...
