Monster in My Podcast: Wailing Writher
A pillar can only get so interesting.

A pillar can only get so interesting.
We hit up that RnD, that executive suite, and whatever you would call that last disaster of a level. DLC and final thoughts next episode, and stay tuned for what we're doing next!
Everything To Guppy is a bite-sized, four-times weekly comedy/gaming podcast in which Gary Butterfield (Watch Out For Fireballs) and William Hughes (The A.V. Club) attempt to analyze every single item, boss, character, and concept in the rogue-lite video game The Binding Of Isaac. They manage to pull it off only slightly less than 50 percent of the time.
(Astonishing X-Men #1) Reminder that you can read along with and ahead of the show by subscribing to Marvel Unlimited (we don't get paid for you doing that, so it's not an ad, it's just a cool service). You can also use Comixology, or buy the trades from your local comic book shop (the preferred method, if we're being honest). Be sure to check with your local library to see if they have them there! You can't clown on the Tick Tock Man.

The Grind: Dennis: XCOM: Chimera Squad. David: Generation Zero. Fallout 76. Ben: Rocket League. Luigi’s Mansion 3. Kole: Final Fantasy 7 Remake. We're over the moon about this strange detective game set in an alternate history version of the late 90s internet. You're an Enforcer for a corrupt company, browsing the poorly made homepages of netizens looking for violations of the law, and trying to avert a cyberdisaster. This is a very clever investigation game with an amazing look and sound, and it shows a lot of affection for a time period that's nostalgic for a lot of us. Support Watch Out for Fireballs!...

This game is ridiculously bad, don't get us wrong. But we ended up kind of being down with Homie figurines as a product, despite being ready to find them unpalatable. Turns out their creator is really in tune with his audience, and the toys/comics are a force for good. Additionally: Gary springs an absurd surprise on Kole.
I'm suffering from a case of beak envy, you guys. Look at that snoot.

The only scary place to have a mirror is the face.
We stumbled into a gross one. Sorry, folks.

We love it when a manual negs a monster.
Kole, Ben, Jala, and David talk about Kirby Star Allies, A Short Hike, and Onimusha: Warlords Remastered. Nice skin. I think I'll take it.

Don't get too excited by the name.
Get ready for us to be effusively positive about an extremely strange and nostalgic experience.
Our search for answers about what happened to CREO continues as we head to Central Production B, where things get confusing. Not plot-wise, but layout-wise. This episode covers Central Production B and the Resolve Biolabs, finishing with the boss fight against BIG SISTR 1/3. Next episode will cover the rest of the main game.
