¶ Modern Medicine's Flaws and Metabolic Trinity
Welcome to the Dry Fasting Club. I'm Yannick Wolf and this is the start of a more organized series and we're gonna take it day by day. Today let's talk about the failure of modern medicine. Stop me if you've heard this before. Go to the doctor, you feel like absolute shit. Tired, brain fog, cold hands, maybe some chronic pain. And then they run a standard blood test. Lipid profile, TSH, maybe a basic metabolic panel.
And they come back to you with a smile and say, everything looks normal. You're the picture of health. But you don't feel healthy. You feel like you're dying a slow motion death. And this is the failure of modern medicine. They are looking at the blood, which is a transport medium, okay? While the actual crime scene, the actual problem is happening in the tissue. Your blood levels of hormones and nutrients are maintained by the body at all costs.
All the time. It's something called homeostasis, okay? Or you can think about it as balance. This will happen even while your cells are starving. The body will still keep the blood in balance no matter what. Also, how does modern medicine measure energy? Do you know? Well, your doctor doesn't either. They might understand the concept of a metabolic cart, but let's face it, they don't really. So today we are going to talk about a protocol.
Okay. We're we won't give it a fancy name. We're just gonna call it the metabolic trinity. Okay, it's not the Scorch Protocol. And this metabolic trinity fixes this problem. And it's based on three non-negotiable pillars of biology that standard medicine, standard care just ignores. We've got deep autophagy, cellular energy, and tissue regeneration.
And I'm going to show you why doing just one of these things, like just fasting or just taking supplements, is why you're still sick. You have to do them all and you have to do them in a specific order.
¶ Dry Fasting and T3 Energy Restart
The first pillar is the cleanup crew. You've heard of fasting. You've heard of autophagy. What's autophagy? The body's way of recycling damaged damaged cells. But what most people don't know is that water fasting is the light version. Okay, there's a study called hyper osmotic stress induced unconventional autophagy.
And that study changed everything we know about how the cell cleans itself. It showed that when you uncouple water intake from food restriction, right, dry fasting, when you enter that state of systemic hypertonicity, and that just means dehydration, you trigger a completely separate pathway of autophagy, okay? Something that does not rely on the usual nutrient sensors, the usual way we always think of autophagy.
So think of it like this. Water fasting is like hiring someone to tidy up your living room. Dust a little bit here, a little bit there, but they're not going to throw out and replace your moldy drywall. They're not going to do anything about the rotting couch. Dry fasting by creating this osmotic pressure is like a fire that burns down the forest so that new trees can grow. It destroys that couch and drywall and replaces it.
It forces the cell to scrounge for water by breaking down its own machinery. Things like viral fragments, misfolded proteins. It is the most aggressive detox signal evolution has given us. There's nothing stronger. But here's a trap. Most people that do the fast, they get the cleanup and then they crash, you know, or they eventually return to the symptoms. Why?
Well, because cleaning a house takes energy. And if you have a chronic illness, you know, long COVID, MECFS, autoimmune stuff, your energy furnace is broken. You're likely suffering from something called tissue level hypothyroidism. Look it up. Look up the hypothyroid symptoms and you're probably gonna be like, wow, that's me. Then you go to your doctor, get your thyroid labs done, and then they're like, nope, you're fine. This is where the second pillar comes called T3 therapy.
It you m so basically you might have normal TSH levels. Doesn't matter. If your hands are cold, if your temperature is low, if your pulse is low, if you have brain fog, your cells are most likely not getting the T3 levels that they need. And they need those levels to burn fuel. So what you're in this state of metabolic hibernation. Sometimes, yes, this has to do with multiple factors like that are not letting the T3 in. It could be fungal, viral, bacterial, parasitic, metabolic, everything.
So if you try to fast with this broken metabolism, you're just digging a deeper hole. There's a reason the bad cases cannot heal even with all the medicine in the world. Without your body being the key player in fighting, you will never win. So you have to artificially restart the furnace. We use specific T3 to force the mitochondria on. We aren't asking the body, please make some energy. We're literally making it do it. We're forcing it to.
Remember, you didn't get into this mess in a few weeks, so it takes months and years, and therefore recovery takes a while.
¶ Growth Hormone and Protocol Synergy
You're not you just have to make sure that you're going in the right direction. Okay, and then there's the third pillar. Once you've cleaned the house and turned on the lights, T three, you need to repair the building. This is where growth hormone comes in. When you get sick, especially with viral issues, your immune system ages, your thymus gland shrinks, you stop producing the native T cells that you need to fight new infections.
You're fighting a war with an army of old, disgusting, broken immune cells. The growth hormone is the signal to build. It regenerates the thymus. It protects the lean muscle while you fast, while you do T3. It tells those new stem cells exactly when to grow and what to become. Okay, so here's the takeaway. The reason you haven't healed yet is because you are trying to solve a complex system failure with a single tool. If you just fast
You clean the cell, but you don't get the energy to rebuild. If you just take thyroid meds, you rev the engine, but you're reving a dirty engine full of sludge. And if you just take peptides or HGH, you're trying to build a new house. on rotten foundation. So the protocol that I talk about combines all of this. One, we burn out the rot with the osmotic stress of dry fasting. Two, we ignite the metabolism with T3 to fuel the recovery.
Three, we signal regeneration with HGH and peptides to build a stronger body than the one you started with.
