Drummer JP Bouvet of Lakeville, MN now based in New York is a Berklee alumni who has very much taken control of his career. JP, once won the Guitar Center Drum, beating over 4,500 contestants for the number one spot. After Berklee, JP moved to New York where he works as a session player and an educator.
JP runs his own educational drumming resources called JP Bouvet Music where he now has over 400 video lessons covering a wide range of drumming topics including grooves, independence, fills, rudiments, blogs, soloing, and much more.
JP is a wonderfully insightful individual and this is a very inspiring chat.
