Dr. David Perlmutter reveals how mitochondrial dysfunction drives neurodegeneration—and how diet, ketones, and gut health can protect your brain.

Dr. David Perlmutter explains why the future of brain health hinges on mitochondria. He breaks down how metabolic dysfunction drives MS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and cognitive decline, and why ketones, exercise, autophagy, and gut health are essential for restoring cellular energy. He also explores the emerging science of bacteriophages, nitric oxide, fructose metabolism, and how diet shapes neuroimmune resilience.

Dr. Perlmutter is a Board-Certified Neurologist and five-time New York Times bestselling author. He serves on the Board of Directors and is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition.

Dr. Perlmutter received his MD degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he was awarded the Leonard G. Rowntree Research Award.
